We loved our late breakfast of eggs, meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, bread, jam, and coffees. Everything was amazing quality and all of this for under €20 for two people!

I'm so glad we booked! We went to this wonderful restaurant on Easter Sunday, it was very busy and the atmosphere was lively. There are three main areas, lower ground, middle floor which was where we ate and a top level I think mainly for buffet style service. The level we were on was beautiful, full of comfy sofas and... Variety of Breakfast (which is served from Dusk to Down), but also proper Lunch or Dinner-- if you are in the mood. Espresso was not really great, but was compensated by good Service.

Great place for every moment. Price-performance ration is fair, there is a big selection for every taste. I just love it there!

The Café BilderBuch is a Berliner institution located right in the center of the nice and fancy neighborhood Berlin-Schöneberg, one of Berlin’s most elegant neighborhoods also when it comes to well-restored old buildings built more than 100 years ago, during the times of the German Empire. And so is the Café BilderBuch, a posh and elegant coffee-house, full of vintage... More

We enjoyed our brunch together with family and friends very much. It was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was very good and there was a good selection of different appetizers. We had children with us and they had a good time, too. We can only recommend it further,

Our waiter was so unfriendly, especially towards non German speakers, he didn't even let us finish any sentence or make eye contact. We waited about 30 minutes to get 2 espressos and water!!

The place is very nice with decoration and dim light and I had an amazing apple strudel, I would definitely recommend it. The staff was very nice and helpful and they have various options for a late night snack.

We went for brunch with a friend who recommended the venue. The cafe is located in a residential area with lots of small shops and enterprises, nothing like an English High Street, just short of a not so up market shopping area. The moment you step through the door, you feel that it will be good. There are three areas:... More

Arrived early in Berlin for a meeting with a couple of hours to kill beforehand. Having never visited the city before had no clue where to go. Asked tourist info at the Schönefeld airport for a nice place for breakfast. Took a taxi 35 euros. Walked through the door.... nice. Comfortable, relaxed, good service, great food, coffee was fine. Perfect... More

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
