Decoration ok. Coffee definitely a bit sour as other customers described. Waiters ok but not that extreme friendly as some other guest said!

This is a truly international café with a great atmosphere and marvellous muffins. It has many cutural events, including art classes and German/English language exchange. Very friendly and well worth a visit.

Been here twice and really like the place. Nice to just sit down and relax in this place with friends. Oh and btw, the wifi works perfect and is fast!

This cafe somehow has a great reputation but it is undeserving. It is a complete tourist trap with average coffee, a very limited menu and terrible atmosphere. Avoid like the plague!!!

Having had the boiled eggs I can say the food was very reasonably priced and enjoyable. However, the atmosphere let this place down. It was pretentious and not at all welcoming. If your in the local area with a MacBook then great...if not don't bother...

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,

We at the St. Gaudy Cafe are a conglomeration of folk all living and loving in Berlin.DescriptionSt. Gaudy is a multi-lingual café and events venue located in the heart of Prenzlauerberg. As a café, St. Gaudy maintains a friendly, multi-lingual team of staff, a very affordable menu and a great vegetarian selection of foods. The café possesses a welcoming and casual environment, with monthly/ever-changing photo/drawing/painting exhibitions of local artists on the walls. St. Gaudy is more than a café: with 2 years of experience promoting a diverse range of events, St. Gaudy is also a venue for various activities in the areas of music, literature, language, film, art, photography, dance, chess, book exchange and much more. Our mission is to open doors for a different surprise in every event, maintaining a both professional and intimate ambient, which brings together distinctive circles of people in one single network setting. Examples of our fixed-events are a weekly Language-Exchange program, a monthly screening of both stimulating and provoking selection of documentary/film followed by discussions, plus evenings of unique and international live music brought about by the Berlin Folk Society. Customers are given an opportunity to actively participate in all events, to network, socialize, and to become part of a wider community. St. Gaudy is definitely a place not to be missed in Berlin. You can find us just off Schönhauser Allee, on the corner of Gaudystraße, a bit further down the road is Mauer Park, with Schönhauser Allee Arcaden not far to the north.
