Visited with friends (we are not tourists) and was disappointed by the service. Berlin is notoriously bad in general but this place was on the low end of things. The service was fairly slow in general. The main issue was that two things we had...More

In short, nothing special, just your average tapas bar. Staff untrained, but friendly. Food is the run of the mill stuff you get everywhere. I had an entrecôte, which was ok, but with a side of unpeeled, ugly looking small potatoes. Who serves this? Will...More

The decor is actually pretty nice, but the food very average. A couple of hours after I ate the gambas al ajillo (my favourite tapa that I always order when it's on the menu) I became very ill, and since the gambas were the only...More

I usually judge tapas restaurants on behalf of the calamare fritos. If that is good usually all is good. The calamares was OK. The rest we had was better. So depending on what you are having this restaurant is OK to good.

Let 's begin with the positive points: the atmosphere is really cosy! The waiters are friendly. But the food and the timing were very disappointing. We waited more than 1,5 hour for our dish to arrive. We saw various people come and go. The paella...More

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,

A popular venue for tapas. It offers some 20 varieties and choosing can be difficult. If you can't get enough, go for a large portion. All tapas are available in half-sized or full portions. This goes down well with the clientele and so does the overall concept too. The Turkish restaurateur and Andalusian chef offer pure gastronomic pleasure for the cosmopolitan diner. The freshly served skate wings and quark ice-cream are not to be sneezed at either. The oval lamps that look like UFOs provide an interesting decorative feature. The restaurant also serves a selection of choice wines. In short, our favourite Spanish restaurant.
