I ate here with my boyfriend on our first night in Berlin as it was close to our hotel. We came from Scotland and so understood there may be some miscommunications with the languages. I ordered a plain beef burger but when it came it had loads of different sauces on it - I tried to wipe them all off... More

We went to habana randomly!! The place is not something special.. they don't give you time to decide what you want to order! The dishes were really expensive!! And finally at the end they bring the reciept and they push you to give them tip! I didn't like it at all!!

Firstly I want to start off by saying I will never be returning to this establishment again, the service was very poor, waited for a good while for our order to be taken. But the major problem was the very rude waitress (seemed like the manager or possibly owner) firstly when my partner ordered something and requested no mushrooms she... More

This place is great for both drinks and dinner. We initially came here to have a drink, and there was an excelkent drinks menu including classic cocktails. We were impressed by the quality and value. We ended up also having dinner here, and the menu was ample. You will find typical German and international foods here such as burgers, Mexican,... More

Came hare randomly. Had really warm welcome from waitress named Sandra. We had mozzarella sticks and pasta with thousand shrimps in it. Portion was so big that we even couldn't make it. Thanks for cozy sunday evening.

A busy, vibrant bar located on the junction of Gruenberger Straße andSimon-Dach Straße (near Frankfurter Tor U-Bahn station). There is plenty of seating areas and also big screens to watch live football or sport on. We ordered 2 main meals and a couple of drinks which were all very nice and reasonably priced. However, we ordered a second round of... More

Nice Mexican restaurant near Boxhagener Platz. The place has a huge covered terrace, where you easily can fit s large group. The menu is typical Mexican, and all was very delicious and well prepared.

Went here with my friends and the waiter with black hair was very rude!!!! It is a pity as we are here in this area for 4 months and we were thinking of calling back. As a person who works in the hospitality sector I could now believe how abrupt this man was!!! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
