I'll start with the information everyone needs: is the meat tasty? Was the steak good? Answer to those questions are Yes and Yes! The meat was excellent, grilled to perfection! The location is amazing, the service has been impeccable, the meat has been amazing! You should definitely visit this restaurant when in Berlin!

The brunch buffet is really big and can satisfy every taste. Freshly made crepes, several types of ham, cold and warm choice, paella, and more... Brunch s possible only upon reservation. Beautiful biergarten!

I'm from Spain and I wanted to give an opportunity to taste a Spanish restaurant out of Spain. The result: disaster. The food looks like to be from Spain, but the taste not at all. Where is the manchego cheese? As far as I know cambembert and brie cheese is from France, not from Spain. I miss over all the... More

Mouthwatering steaks can be found at this place. The portions are plentiful and well prepared. Starters were large and really good with lots of bread and spreads - the bread were not the most exciting. Some of the sides were a little boring, but the steaks were really good - which should be the hallmark of a steakhouse. The prices... More

The restaurant has a very nice decoration and atmosphere.the staff at the Spanish restaurant was very helpful and kind the staff at the steak-pasta restaurant were just ok. We ordered pasta (goat cheese and rocket salad)which it didn't have a taste at all and pasta with meat slices which was descent. For this kind of restaurant I expected other flavors... More

I've been at Tauro with a friend by chance, with no recommendation, and it was a good surprise. The service was good, smooth, and we asked Lamb noisettes with vegetables and roasted chicken legs. The environment was very calm, although the restaurant was mostly empty (65%). I think the price was fair for what's offered. When visiting Berlin again, I'll... More

Food was nice and plentiful, if a little over-salted. What lets the place down are the staff - long wait to be seated, two drinks orders wrong and then an age to get the bill. It see,s customers are a huge inconvenience in this place

The serving staff was surly and horrible. Especially Jennifer. Truly an expensive place which does not live up to the attractive decor with either food or service quality.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
