We went here for an early supper of tapas and left disappointed. The first bad sign was that the food arrived within 10 minutes of our order. We ordered the olives, potatoes, artichokes, salad, padron peppers and tomato bread. The artichokes tasted canned and the tomato bread was soggy due to too much tomato piled on top. The rest of... Went there for dinner during a business trip. The meat quality was excellent. The atmosphere is nice, in an architecture typical to Berlin. I strongly recommend.

There are great places to go in Berlin for Sunday Brunch at half the price charged by Tauro (currently 24.50 per person), but there's nowhere in this brunch-loving city that can match what Tauro offers - nowhere with a brunch this impressive! Wow, the place is gorgeous! What beautiful ambiance, whether you're inside at a romantic table for two, taking... More

When you go into this restaurant, you immediately feel as if in Spain. They have a typical Spanish tapas bar, and a restaurant. The place is enormous, but still is very cosy. I had chicken prepared at the Spanish way and it tasted great! Very friendly waiter also. For 2 persons we paid € 24,20.

Every Sunday from 11am to 3pm you could enjoy fine food for 25 euro per person. Incredible way to start the day!

The resturant is about 10 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz and easy to find once you start looking for the name being projected on the side of the building. we arrived early , were shown to the table and ordered drinks but... Very spacious restaurant with a tapas bar and steakhouse. Lots of wine to choose from and very helpful staff. This restaurant is located near Prenzlauerberg and well worh a visit. Usually not overcrowded and fairly priced.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
