Just perfect spot to have oysters and in the meantime grab some more seafood from everywhere around. Perfect spot for a quick treat.

This is my go to place whenever I crave for fresh oysters. They have oysters from France such as Fine de Claires and Belon.

Had a plate of fresh rock oysters with a glass of Pinot Gris wine. Not expensive at all. A great lunch. Yum!!!

I believe it's the best place to eat oysters in simple surrounding. Located on the 6th floor of KaDeWe among other places where you can eat anything you want, from burger to truffles. Good choice of fresh oysters accompanied with wine - an excellent idea for quick rest while shopping in the area.

Must visit place if you are in Berlin. The food was really good with reasonable prices. The service was really kind and English-Speaking a combination rarely found in Germany. Would definitely visit again!!

This is an oyster bar worth its name. Amazing, not too expensive oysters. And great wines to go with it. Skip the rest of KaDeWe and get here already.

I love a good plate of oysters at a big magazine. Could be the Galleries Lafayette or the KaDeWe, you can never go wrong with it. But skip the Prosecco (not very good) on offer here.

Outstanding place, people and seafood. We were absolutely impressed for the quality of the oysters. The staff recommendation was perfect. At the same time we asked them if we could order some more food from the restaurants surrounding and they not only said yes but brought us the menus and the food. Nice people and good food make places different.... More

It is a totally gigantic shopping center, and when you reach 6th floor, you will be impressed by all the food being there. In one corner there are fish and oysters. Observe that all the small restaurants work together so it is working to sit in the oyster bar with friends even if you don't eat this. I got my... More

The oyster bar in the KeDeWe is famous, a place you should visit and experience. Unfortunately it takes half an hour (and with some help from regular guests) to get served.

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
