I chose this place because I hadn't eaten Ethiopian food for a while and because this place opens earlier during the day than other Ethiopian restaurants in Berlin. And what a great decision it was to go there! Not only was the food – btw...I had ful with injera and timatim – delicious, the taste took me right back to Ethiopia. And so did the whole place with soft background music and all. Their injera is made with teff and didn't taste sour at all – in case that's what normally keeps you from eating injera. The service was excellent, too. They made sure everything was ok and in the end I bought some Ethiopian coffee too, and they ground the coffee beans for me. This is a perfect place if you want to enjoy Ethiopian food – although the menu is not very extensive – or to try it if you have never tasted it before.
