This is a small place that doesn't really look like much at first. The menu doesn't offer the usual huge selection of dishes, but the ones you can choose from are all delicious. The staff is very friendly and it's a family run restaurant. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area. The prices are absolutely fair and... More

This place is rather tiny so I wouldn't recommend it to larger groups BUT I would definitely recommend it to everyone else! 😊 My girlfriend loves this place and wanted to show it to me for quite a while already. Now I understand why. 😉 The menu offer 13 different options which I appreciate. To me that the stuff they... More

This small place is an absolute gem. The food is freshly prepared and while you wait friendly staff keep you supplied with pots of jasmine tea. The ambience is slightly street food chic but the food is excellent and cheap. Closed on Sundays and holidays.

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
