Me and my girlfriend came for lunch. I had a russian dish which was really tasty called Blinis and my girlfriend had a bagel. For dessert we had the most amazing homemade and fresh cheesecake and a delicious chocolate cake. The owners are so welcoming and accommodating. After we had a walk by the water which was very nice.

After visiting Schloss Charlottenburgh, the family ate lunch here. Sat outside and did some people watching. The food and service were very good. The Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce was delicious. A quiet, friendly cafe with a simple menu; we stopped here on the way to Tegel airport. Just up the road there is a direct transfer bus to the airport. There is a nice selection of wraps and fillings. Choose your wrap and filling and they are made to order

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
