Trendy easy going restaurant with delicate dishes. Nice to start of in the MonkeyBar with a cockail on the rooftop before going to you table. Nice dishes and friendly staff will get you eased for the night... ask for jungle side window table you'll enjoy the sunset

The food was good. Service not especially friendly. But it's a fairly large, stylish place with a nice view over the zoo and the city skyline. I was able to try many different dishes, as they were usually served on small plates stacked 3 high (see photos) and ideal for sharing. I think it was pretty expensive for the amount... More

You will need to book as it is very popular! Try the taster menu to share as it has the best of the menu in small plates.

Nani is really a great option for those looking for a great view and some great food in Berlin. The only down points for me were the prices and the impossibility to be spontaneous with them - to do reservations on the day before or on same-day is a no-go, which is not a bad thing, but given that this... This is a hard to find, noisy, charming place. Went for a late lunch with a group of people and were happy all the time. The waiters are not very skilled, but there are plenty of them, so things sort themselves out. The food was good, we had several dishes that we hadn't tried before (which is unusual for seasoned... Came here with a group of friends and enjoyed the many facets this restaurant has to offer. The food was delicious, the views are excellent (especially from the men's toilet - genuinely) and the service very efficient. Attached is a picture of my 'Mezze Three': beetroot & mustard hummus, babaganoush and on the bottom is baked sweet potato with sour... More

Neni was such a pleasant surprise in any way. The rooftop location with a undisturbed view of the Tiergarten and central Berlin, the nice interior and the superb food. We had the "Balagan" which comprises numerous small dishes - a Mediterranean "tapas". Highlights where the roasted eggplants, the cod and the tasty deserts including cheesecake, mascarpone and nice fruit sorbets.... More

Our second visit to Berlin and Neni's & the Monkey bar , this time with the teenagers - and they were impressed. First the location : concrete block with well guarded lift entrance , bypassing the queue because we'd had the sense to book, pretend graffiti , at the top - more concrete pretend graffiti and industrial looking décor with... The NENI Berlin is a culinary mosaic of Persian, Russian, Arabic, Moroccan, Turkish, Spanish, German and Austrian influences. The concept of Haya Molcho is that everyone is able to try a little of everything, and pots and pans are taken from the kitchen and placed directly on the table without any airs or graces. In the 10th Floor you can enjoy the varied cuisine and panoramic views of Berlin and the Tiergarten.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
