Me and my son visit this restaurant a week ago for diner as I am traveling a lot I can say that if you close your eyes you will fill in a Milanese restaurant in Italy. Add to that nice design, god play list, very good service, you get one of perfect spots in Berlin.

We came across this restaurant 4 or 5 years ago and return every time we're in Berlin. It's quite a small and cosy restaurant filled with checkered tablecloths, dimmed lighting, candles and a nice Italian vibe to it. The menu is presented on a big blackboard and changes daily although there are a few staples that always seem to be... More

We went there on a Saturday night, all the tables were full or booked for later. The decoration is pretty nice as in many places in Neukoln.. The choices are not many but enough and the prices are not cheap.. The food however was quite tasty.. P.s. Strange wine charging system but fair, just ask. A nice selection of wines.

I would consider to rename this restaurant and use the Italian translation instead. There is not so much "German" of this restaurant. (Not meant as an offense.) Very nice atmosphere, classical music and nice seats at the bar apart from the regular tables. Don't go here if you like very bright illuminated restaurants. :) Typical Italian food, "simple" and that's... More

If you are looking for a nice relaxed night out with great atmosphere and great food this is the perfect spot. Our waitress was wonderful, took us through the menu item by item and recommended an amazing bottle of wine. We thought the portion sizes were perfect and the quality outstanding. We were in the back room which was cozy... More

We had just arrived in Berlin and were recommended this restaurant by a local as was in the area we were staying. No tables available so they placed us at the bar. We did not speak German but that was no problem as they translated the whole of the menu into English and it was a long menu. Our waitress... More

Got a table outside. The owner is a nice guy with good humor. Seems like he loves his job and his place. Fast service and good food. Recommend the taglitelle with lamb and the mussels

Lovely little restaurant in a cool corner of the city. Well worth a visit for a drink and to have a wander around this part of town in the evening ( we found it feels much less touristy than many areas). Food was average- as many of the reviews say; it is authentic Italian cooking .. everything is quite simple... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
