Without a doubt the nicest pizza I have ever eaten. Very reasonably priced as well. Would definitely recommend the bruschetta as a starter. Great atmosphere, just make sure you book in advance!

Fantastic spot in Mitte for an enjoyable Italian meal. The place is in an interesting building and is always packed full of families and groups enjoying themselves giving a really fun friendly vibe. Food is good, cheap and tasty!

Yes it's busy and you may have to queue to get a table, but if you can be patient the wait is more than worthwhile. We have been there several times now and the pizzas are simply gorgeous. Try a beer in Brewdog while you're waiting. Brewdog also do pizza but they aren't a patch on Papa Pane which are... More

If you want a real Italian experience in Berlin this is the place. We had to wait for a table but staff were friendly and tried to get us seated quickly. The place was packed full with lots of noise and staff on the move. The pizza we had was really excellent and we really enjoyed the experience.

Popped in after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were seated near the service area and it was extremely busy and loud, with the staff shouting at each other; I nearly got an elbow in my face! The pizzas were too doughy and cold and I had to get up to get my own bread. When I asked to... More

Superb Italian food and friendly staff. Some of the best Italian meat I've ever had and the pannacotta was superlative. Will be back...

This was a really nice place to have pizza. Unfortunately over the last year the quality of the food dropped substantially.

Amazing pizza and a lot of choices. If you are craving for a real Italian pizza - this is the right place to go. The pizza portion is huge, so you better be very hungry:) The only thing that we didn't like is that we have got the table near the bar/cashier and waitresses and people who were paying with... Our family of five had three pizzas and each were wonderful. Each one was unique and full of flavor. The wait staff was very nice and actually spoke better English than German for our diverse group.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin. The pizzas and pasta dishes are quite nice; portions are large. The price is affordable. Cozy and nice atmosphere. Recommended for couples and groups. (Not so kid friendly)

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
