I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. They only have a few option, but they are really good, especially the bibimbap. There are only a few seats, so be ready to wait during peak hours, service is really fast. Only downside is that there are no toilets.

I was very much looking forward to coming here, and was pretty disappointed. The food is okay, but not more than that. And in comparison to other cheap to mid-range eats in Berlin - pretty expensive. We ate two dishes - the Bibimbap and the vegetarian noodle soup. Oddly, these two very different dishes tasted pretty much the same. They... More

Good Korean food without the hipster pretentiousness of other Korean restaurants. Only downside is the place is a bit small so often have a seating problem and even saw a queue outside when we left, so go early!

I visit the place everytime I am in Berlin. Everytime I am tempted to eat the babimbap, and can seldom resist. The tea with together with the meal is a highlight any day. Sometimes it get's confusing how to order, but just go up to the bar/cash register thingy and order there. Do not forget to add the hot sauce... More

The best korean food in Berlin. They cook the food with love, you can taste it. And yes, you need to wait for long, but it is worth it. Try the bimbap and bulgogi try everything they have.

The food was great! Love the casual atmosphere, love the all hangings of handwritten Scripture!! Love the explanations throughout the menu! Genius! Not classy, flashy, or phoofy, just great home made Korean food at a reasonable price ( most main dishes were around 8.50€. Friendly helpful staff!

They serve only few plates, but I liked all 3 that I tried. The crab soup was delicious and so the kimchi. The style reminds of Asia and the flavours too. A must go!

This small place surely is something else. the food is great, bibimbap, kimchi, bulgogi and there is a special dish with black pasta or rice noodles. not sure what it is, but it was highly recommended to me. so if you get the chance, go eat at this little neighbourhood treat. its great for a quick bite, as the space... After reading several reviews about Ixthys providing genuine tasty Korean food. This seemed to be confirmed with the arrival of a couple of korean folk. My wife and I were really interested in trying it. We have had a previous experience with Korean food before but we felt the place we went to was watered down to the local population.... More

I know you don't usually go to Berlin to get good Koren food but this place is worth a stop. The place is interesting in and of itself. The place has about three long tables inside that get full by about 12:15 for lunch. You have to help yourself to a menu from a basket and to forks and knives... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
