The Circus Café on Weinbergsweg was an excellent café-bar that me and my twin bro visited on our six day visit to Berlin.This was one of the best café-bars we went to in this superb area as they served craft beers.
This café-bar has a very modern interior in a basement area.It has interesting fixtures and features throughout this café-bar and superb seating options and when we were here it was very busy.
When we visited here we had a few bottle's of Meckatzer Brewery Hell's beer that were served iced cold and were well priced.
Its a fantastic café-bar that's located in an excellent area of Berlin and its a place well worth visiting.(This is my first review's of the Circus Café).

The Circus Cafe is a great bar I always enjoy visiting on any holiday I take to Berlin, been visiting here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit.
A great looking bar, interior is superb, dark and cosy, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, eclectic decor and furnishings, superb wall art and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its a totally brilliant bar to chill out in.
We were here on a bitterly cold December night, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a pale ale each,Meckatzer Brewery, these were served in pristine condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar while we sipped our pale ale's.
My pale ale was really good, a golden, hoppy pale ale, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a smooth finish, its hardly surprising that this bar is so popular with beers served in this good a condition by staff who are genuinely pleased to see you in their bar.
We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Circus Bar we had a great time.
The Circus Bar is easy to locate along Weinbergsweg, in the basement of the Circus Hostel.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, 5pm till 2am.
Well worth seeking out if you're in the wonderful Mitte district of Berlin.

We went there for drinks on a saturday late night. Nice music, comfortable furniture & nice set up of the bar. However the quality of the drinks is not satisfying: Self-service, we had two glases of Riesling: poor quality, with major taste of sourness. Than we had a moscow mule presented in a water glass!! altough the bar had moscow mule cups! the mixture was also not very tasty. too much of everything...& the gin tonic was also served in a water glas, with lots of ice cubs....Sorry, but there are better hotel bars.

The Circus Cafe is a wonderful cafe complete with it's own great cellar bar, it's a place I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this city.
The bar looks cool,low lighting creates a cosy atmosphere, nice decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and some great art work,lots of seating options spread throughout this cafe bar,its just one cool bar.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Thursday night, this place was busy,we had a study of the beers on offer and we both opted to have a pale ale each,these were served in excellent condition ,we just kicked back,chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
My pale ale was exceptional, a crisp, hoppy but not over hopped pale ale bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
The Circus Cafe is easy to locate ,jump the tram to Rosenthaler Platz ( U8 ) and walk over to Weinbergsweg were you will find this cafe bar.
Opening hours are;
Cafe is open from 8am and the cellar bar is open from 5pm till 2am Monday to Sunday.
A superb bar,well worth checking out if your in the area.

Came here with my sister last week. The staff was super friendly and the paninis we got tasted very fresh. It seems to be a very good place to study or read a book as it is relatively quiet and the food and beverages are cheap) I think we paid 2,50 for each panini and about 1,50 for a big cup of tea). Definitely recommend this place!!

Staying at the Circus is always a treat and the cafe and its staff are first class. They will happily go to the closed bar downstairs to get you alcoholic drinks and the continental breakfast buffet they do for the hostel is ace. Eat what you want, with a brew for 5 euros. Too easy!

The Circus Cafe is a great cafe & bar which is part of the Circus Hostel.
The cafe out front is cool ,serves great coffee but to me it's the bar area in the cellar which is the big draw.
A cool looking bar with eclectic decor and furnishings, nice wall art and staff who are genuinely pleased to see you in their bar.
We were here on a Tuesday evening, bar was busy, we got an IPA style beer each, these were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
To say this place is popular would be an understatement and on our visit was absolutely packed with a great atmosphere.
My IPA was superb, hoppy and bursting with taste and a very easy to drink beer indeed.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
The Circus Hostel is really easy to locate, jump the U8 to Rosenthaler Platz and walk over to Weinbergsweg were you will find this cafe & bar.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, 5pm till 2am.
A great cafe & bar and well worth checking out.

I've had breakfast there on December 25 so many times. It's almost a ritual of mine now. Coffee is good, staff is nice, ambiance is great, seats are comfy and wifi is great. I have also met great people there, travellers like me. It's an awesome place.

A great tucked-away bar in the basement of a hostel/hotel! We went for late-night drinks; all lovely including great cocktails. We visited on a Saturday night and the Scottish Bar Manager was serving the drinks complete with his funky dance-moves!
We had a range of different drinks including cocktails. Well priced and prompt service in a great area.

I love to visit this bar housed in the Circus Hostel as it has one of the coolest cellar bars in Berlin with its own microbrewery.
The Circus Hostel Brewing Co was founded in 2014 and has gone from strength to strength,I love their beers which are innovative and very tasty.
The bar itself is cool ,the basement bar is cozy with a nice serving bar and great cushioned seats scattered around the bar,the tables are awesome,giant old LP records and there's plenty of board games such as chess and draughts to keep you entertained.
We were here on a Monday evening and descended the stairwell were after a quick study of the beers on offer my twin brother Stephen and I decided to have Circus beer ,these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and at €4 A pint great value for a quality craft beer.
The beers were outstanding,hoppy and tasty and really refreshing and very easy to drink,we kicked back and chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this great Brewpub.
We ended up staying here for another beer before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Katz & Maus is easy to locate by jumping the U8 to Rosenthaler Platz and walk over to Weinbergsweg were you will find this great Brewpub in the Circus Hostel.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday,5pm till 2am.
A great brewpub and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

We were guests of the Hostel and the convenience of the breakfast there was something we liked most. Fresh veggies and bakery and a small but good variety of food with an extended time out of average (from 8:00 to 13:00).
