Cozy restaurant with great breakfast/brunch. Lots of variety of foods to choose from. Might be crowded during peak breakfast times, but if you are prepared to wait a moment you will get seats.

Although we made a reservation we had to wait in the cold for about an hour because inside was no room. Food was good and cheap but service insufficient.

Prime location beside train station. Cheap, delicious cocktails. Very friendly and fun bar-staff! Fun evening

Famous Berlin brunch We had 2 families and had typical Berlin brunch. Turkish twist, yoghurts, feta but also classics as kartofeln salad and some nice beers. 5 children, 4 adults, 1 and 1/2 hours, 125€ including some beers and schnaps

I had been to this cafe on 3 occasions while living in Berlin and had come back on a return trip as previous brunches had been excellent. Whether there has been a change of management or something else, the brunch lacked imagination this time.

I had a huge brunch here that was very filling and excellent quality. Yoghurt, fresh fruit and a meat/cheese platter with bread and coffee. It took some leisurely time to eat but there was no rush to leave. The service was excellent. There's a huge range of things to try on the menu to suit pretty much every taste. The... More

Went there a few days ago for a brunch with some friends; although the reviews look rather positive on tripadvisor, we quickly realised the quality of the food was really poor! (Frozen products, rotten fruits..) It seems everything was just from the local discount supermarket chain.. On top of that the choices of the buffet are really limited.. You will... More

I have tried many brunch places in Berlin and I found that in that one there was not enough choice and the products are very low in quality: concentrated orange juice, frozen chicken, dry rice, etc... Moreover, products are very basic, you can find better at Liddle.

I ate a super delicious omelette and some muesli with fruits and milk. I was so full after that, it's really worth the money.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
