Found it by chance....and were lucky to get a table. Very friendly staff, autenthic cellar, nice food. Would like to come back for an evening dinner. Probably a good idea to make a reservation.More

Dinner in Ratskeller it's kind of a must when I'm around in Bremen. Tipical north german food! Try the "Bremer Knipp" and you'll be surely satisfied. Moreover you can choose from a great variety of wines. Very fair price wise compared to his central position....More

Loved this place. In centre of town below town hall.Had traditional food, corn beef hash, looked not appetising but tasted good. Haggis done german style was so flavoursome, portions huge, we were given a private booth which was lovely. Staff were so friendlyMore

I think everyone visiting Bremen should have a meal in the Ratskeller to get the feel of a tradional german eating house. The restaurant in the cellar of the town hall provides an excellent ambience to enjoy local dishes and a wide and interesting choice...More

Yes, you should ask (better book) for a "priölken" (I think it is spelled in this way), if you want the cousy roundish cell where you can sit with up to 5 people, located at the sides of the room. Otherwise all other tables... More
