I had a group dinner here with some 20 people. For groups they offer a limited menu which I can understand. The food however was below average. I had a zwiebelrostbraten. The food was way too salted. A rostbraten shoud be juicy but it was dry and took heavy chewing. Price was above average for rostbraten.

We enjoyed the dinner at Stadwirt. We got delicious food, really nice service and it was not too expensive. Both vegetarian and gluten free meals were managed. Also children were happy with the dinner. Vielen Danke!

The old part is definitely the part to go if you want to show, or even show off, what kind of nice places you know. However it is a good idea to reserve a table there, as the seats are very limited. The bigger part of the location is a more modern restaurant that has the same food and drinks... More

Difficult to find (although in the very center of the city), strange entrance (in the modern shopping mall), but once you are in and choose to sit in the area with old (?) brick vaulted corridor, everything will improve. Food is good (ok, no high cuisine, but decent local stuff), service was very nice (even taking care of small children)... More

It can be reached by car and public transports. Is in an old building and you can eat meat and fish and the "Bremen" specialities. Menu in English

Now this was a treat. Situated in an old monestary and serving traditional German dishes. Friendly staff and excellent choices of pork and beef. City center, but very affordable. Guten Appetit!

We had a wonderful night at stadtwirt. Really Nice food, although the choice for me was limited (glutenfree). Great prices, and the service was ok. Reserved a table under the beautiful ceiling on a busy night. Thanks!

Went with colleagues for our department X-Mas dinner. We had to choose from the menu a few days before, but when we got there every order was confirmed, which was good. However it took sooo long to be served that it was quite annoying. But the food when it came was pretty good and huge portions. Will have to try... More

Unexpected discovery in the shopping mall - a restaurant located in a used-to-be monastery. Food was good! Our company of four tried soups, main dishes and a desert, all tasted lovely. Service was a bit slow, I would say, but that was an observation for all the places we went to in Bremen.
