Popped in for lunch on a Friday in January. It was very busy, which is always a good sign! Service was quick, friendly and not speaking much German didn't prove any real obstacle. Fresh food, great drinks in a warm atmosphere. Very reasonably priced too...for the quality.More

We visited Hamburg on a Sunday not realising that everywhere was closed, so we looked for authentic German food and Frau Moeller was the first place that came up, a lovely 30 minute walk from the town hall. Once we got to our destination we...we warmly greeted by the waitress and shown to a seat, speaking no German, we were trying to understand the menu, she then gave us a copy in English and took our order. The food and beer were absolutely fantastic, exactly what we were looking for and the the warm welcome was from the locals within the bar as well as the staff, we will visit Hamburg again and ensure we come back to the restaurant, thank you for making us feel so welcomeMore

Great beer& great food .. The only down side is - it’s CASH ONLY - make sure you have enough for the bill . I love this bar .. I visited a few times pre covid & had a trip cancelled due to the pandemic...- When I was stuck in my house I often thought of Lapscuse ( or ever you spell it !) & A large Glass of Jever beer .. I wasn’t disappointed .More

Somewhat dates and food nothing special but friendly staff and open on Christmas Eve. We had a veggie burger and some beers. Can’t go wrong.

We used this bar to watch the World Cup final we spent lots of money eating and drinking and towards the end a member of staff went historical with us for no reason other than cheering the goals scored she was disgustingly rude and offensive...to the point she had upset the whole crowd. Probably the worst experience of hospitality I have ever seen. Please steer clear of this place they are not friendly just down right rude.More

We had breakfast, chose items from the menu. It was okay, nothing special or well done. The coffee was terrible. You can only pay cash, so eventually remember to have some with you.

I don’t get the hype about this place at all. Food and beer is cheap but nothing special – average at best. Doesn’t accept cards but makes a big fuss about tipping and telling tourists off about “how we do it in Germany”. Not going...back.More

I ate here with my daughter and the waiter was very helpful, spoke English and explained all the dishes to us and made recommendations when asked. The food was hearty and very tasty. The snitzel was bigger than my daughter's head but she enjoyed it....I believe they only take cash.More

Nice little place with some atmosphere to watch the world go by. Food was nice, drinks cold and service excellent Just note that it is cash only and no cards which is a bit like saying you have to arrive on a horse and not...an electric scooter but hey, it’s probably fashionable. Would go again.More

I ordered fried potatoes with fried eggs, halfway through I noticed cubes of bacon in there. Asked a waitress what is bacon doing in my dish because I'm vegetarian, when it doesn't say anything apart from "Bratkartoffel" in the menu. The answer was "it's always...with bacon in our place". I heard "sorry" and was offered a new dish. I didn't want to eat anymore since I ate half of my plate. When paying, the other waiter came and I explained him the situation and said that I'd prefer not paying for the dish or at least get a discount. He smiled and said "you could have asked if there was bacon inside" so I have to pay everything. Should I ask of there's every other type of meat inside too? Very poor service and very poor description of a dish. It clearly said there was only fried potatoes and eggs there, however the waiter didn't see any problem with their kitchen staff putting other things inside because "it's always like this". It could have been an allergen and someone could get hurt with it because of this poor description. Very very bad service.More

Bad burger and only pay cash. Unfreindly staff that did not understand ordering so burger comes 15 min later than rest of food.

Nice place, but please inform your guests that they can only pay cash!! Before they order drinks and food. Surprised, that in 2022 some restaurants don’t accept credit cards!?
