Portion are pretty big and tasty. Price is very decent too. Waiting times are a bit long but when the food comes out is nice and hot. Definitely will come back!

The food is really worth the usually long waits. This is fundamentally a schnitzel restaurant, and they will take their time to make a huge and tasty one for you. My favorite is the Greyezer schnitzel. Recommendation: keep an eye for seasonal schnitzels, they are usually a good surprise

Tasty enormous dishes. Very German variety and great place for pork lovers. I enjoyed the athmosphere in the beer garden.

We visited my wife's Aunt who lives up the road from this place. Her cousin took us here and gave us the true local German experience - huge schnitzels! Delicious, washed down with a local beer!

Went to Eichbaum Tresen because of the schnitzel review on TripAdvisor and was rewarded with the best schnitzel I have ever eaten. I arrived early and sat outside in the 'beer garden' which consisted a tables under a few trees. In roughly 30 minutes, the place was full. A couple of people brought their dogs and the waitress would serve... More

we ordered the schnitzel and some pasta dishes. The restaurant was not very busy inside but Most of the tables outside were full as it was a warm day. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited...An hour and a half after ordering our food it finally got to the table. No apologies, no sorry. We ordered more... More

Cozy and busy local restaurant that was truly and excellent meal. It was indeed, for me, a notch above the many schnitzel restaurants I have been to. The service was fast and the staff polite and the atmosphere was quite nice.

Go there, have a couple of beers and try to eat one of their schnitzel with cheese cream and champignons. A big big schnitzel. The biggest you ever seen. It's a sort of man vs food match. But I must say a delicious match! Go and try!

I walked to Heuser Eichbaum Tresen after a long day of business meetings. I wasn't very hungry, so I only ordered a salad. It was amazing! It was covered in tomatoes and cheese and had a creamy dressing that wasn't Ranch and wasn't Italian but was a little like both and really good. It absolutely hit the spot and was... More

This restaurant does everything right. The only thing I could almost fault them with is making the schnitzel so darn big. This restaurant easily has the best schnitzel in town and of all the places I've tried in the Hessen state. The place can fill up pretty fast, so make a reservation, and they only take cash. I would ding... More
