This is a nice, cozy restaurant in the heart of Frankfurt. I've been here several times and have always come away feeling like I met up with some old friends. I'm partial to the pork cutlet, but my traveling companion had the pig's knuckle and swore it was the best he'd ever had. This is always my first meal when... More

The owner is wonderful - full of fun suggestions on other places to go and a great guy! The food was fabulous - the green sauce keeps me coming back with each visit to Frankfurt!! The beer is cold and other patrons are fun! The menu has a great variety, if you are not in the mood for green sauce!

They have wide varieties of meat based German dishes. Mainly pork based but also veil and chicken as well. Portions are good. A main dish for meat ranges between 15-25 Euro (July 2015). You can sit outside and also enjoy good beer. Location is a plus so you can take a walk along Zeil after the dinner.

This restaurant is very close to the Westin hotel (about 5 mins walk). Menu with pictures so good for people like us that not understand German language! Portion was good. 4 adults we spent about 120 euro includes beer, of course. You can choose to sit outdoors if you are a smoker. We been there a couple of times for... More

if you are looking for a typical german restaurant, this is a mandatory choice! you can find a wide choice of pork axes, leberkase, wurstels and grill teller. you have to taste the local beer, Binding, a nice surprise to me and my mates. the price is not steep, so it is definitely worth a visit!

Spent two evenings here during our recent visit to Frankfurt. Both nights the food was good, the staff friendly and it felt like a nice atmosphere with a real mixture of people and nationalities. Mike was a friendly host who made you feel welcome. It may be the time of year but there weren't any gnats inside the pub. Not... More

I 2nd the recommendation from MichelleLo on the Jaeger schnitzel. Also enjoyed the lentil soup and a wonderful fresh salad with homemade house dressing. A great place to rest after shopping and people watching downtown.

I enjoyed my Jägerschnitzel. It was full of flavor. Everyone else I had dinner with, 6 of us total absolutely enjoyed their meal. Mike the owner was absolutely witty and delightful. I'm making my way right back there on my next visit to Frankfurt.
