Fische Franke was recommended to us so we thought we’d give it a try. In closes early so you need to be in by 7:30 if you want to take your time. The fish was very good and the house white is highly recommended

Fisch Franke seems to have had an update recently. Longer opening hours (although it still shuts at 9.30pm) and a new menu. This is a very relaxed place where locals eats and very close to the cathedral. The fish dishes are traditional and nicely cooked....More
We passed by the restaurant and saw the restaurant full of people so we decided to have a try. The food was so good and yummy!! Will come back again in the future !
A long-time staple on the Frankfurt restaurant scene, however every meal we’ve had here is consistently average-poor for a supposed fish specialist place, serving up overcooked, over-salted fish and seafood at not-inexpensive prices. Dropped in off of the street after visiting the Christmas Market on a Friday afternoon, didnt book a table but it was'nt a problem for the helpful staff. I had the pollock dish which was lovely, others that were with us had the Cod dish...More
First things first - make a reservation. This place is popular. Lots of locals our age (62) eat here, and they certainly know good food based on years of experience. Many choices of preparation of fresh fish - I had mine (Frankie’s platter) grilled and...More

While many people focus on the traditional meats when in Frankfurt, here is an example of superbly prepared fish. The herring 5 ways starter was very tasty and refreshing. The cod was wonderful as was the shrimp and pasta dish. The house wine is crisp...More
This restaurant is close to a hotel I was staying at in central Frankfurt. Very nice variety of fish dishes (but I didn't see any mussels which would have been nice). Good selection of beers and wines. Friendly staff and reasonably good service.
For all seafood lovers visiting Frankfurt, this has to be your first choice. This, almost 100 year old restaurant provides a good variety of traditional seafood.
