Very nice and homelike. Good hearty German fare with a friendly staff. Binding seems to be their beer of choice on tap.
The busiest restaurant with the most charming owner / waiter, who handles by himself all the tables. Reservation is highly recommended.
Good food but a 2 hr wait to get it w/o a beer refill or any explanation is ridiculous. Then the owner/server had the nerve to pretend he didn’t take credit cards. “ How will I pay my bill?” Go elsewhere.
We ate their three nights during our stay in Frankfurt. Food was good, with very reasonable pricing. The venue is modest, with the owner/operator usually serving your table as well. This is a busy restaurant not far from the trains station, and convenient for travellers.
