Nice selection of small plates - salads, meats, sandwiches etc. Homemade cookies and cake. Lovely setting on the balcony on a sunny day watching the canal boats chug along drinking a coffee and dunking a cookie! Dog friendly too, with lead hook ups, water etc.

Beautifully cooked and presented breakfast. Mashed Avocado on crusty brown bread with grilled tomatoes and omega seeds. Delicious! Lovely staff!

We visited on a Thursday around 5.30, quite a few empty tables inside although the balcony was full. Staff very nice, took our order and when the food came it looked nice enough although they forgot a side of fries to share. We tried to get someones attention but gave up and did without. Both meals were quite tasteless and... More

The service is always good, the young team of staff are professional and helpful and the food is good quality. The bread used for sandwiches s especially nice. It's nice to sit outside in good weather and there are blankets provided too for cooler weather, nice view of canal and hills in background. It can be hard to get a... More

Similar to a pop up restaurant this cafe hosts a restaurant one evening a month. It's themed to a style, fish or Mexican mine was a celebration of Britain. you need to book in advance as it sells out quickly. For those that feel they need to order off the menu or can't eat if a plate not pre heated... More

Just come back from a Limekilns supper night. We have been to several now and they are fantastic evenings. Each course was gorgeous including the opening cocktail. The panacocta was delightful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Really, really enjoyed the evening with beautiful company. We are booked onto the next two suppers. Thank you to chef and staff. Alan

This a fabulous place to grab breakfast, lunch, or a light bite any time of year whether you choose to eat inside or on the quaint terrace overlooking the canal (the weather's immaterial as the scenery is relaxing) It's got a great feel and the staff are vibrant and attentive. Trouble is it's so damned busy! Roll on retirement so... More

This place is easy to miss,... just off the mini roundabout it says visitor centre, and parking is sparce so try to park close by and walk to this quaint little cafe. We went for lunch on a lovely sunny day and were able to take one of the many walks around the area along the wates edge. There is... More

Really lovely cafe with fantastic breakfast and tasty food for lunch. On the side of a canal and one of the places we like to stop after a nice walk in the area. Service is friendly. Place is also very busy and it can be a good idea to book beforehand

Visited with friends for breakfast, we prebooked a table so didn't have to wait. The place is nice enough but was very busy so the service was a bit slow, I got a light breakfast which was £5.50 for one sausage, one bacon slice, some scrambled egg and one piece of toast you also get a grilled tomato but I...
