Some friends, who live locally, took us to the Limekiln and we were very impressed. Their wines were excellent and their portions substantial. Including wine £18/head for two courses. Definitely a keeper!

The food here is always delicious, great menu with lots of choice of traditional and more imaginative options! Service is also excellent...friendly, efficient, good value and great thoughtful extras like the blankets on the veranda!

Visited this cafe on Sunday...what a disappointment👎 We counted seven dogs from German shepherds to spaniels at various INSIDE dining tables. Most of them looked grubby/wet and obviously been for a good walk beside the canal. Now I’m a doggy fan but draw the line...More

Visited today on my way back from Uppermill, thought I’d just pop in for a coffee and be on my way. I sat outside and waited for someone to take my order, and waited, and waited (it was not busy). A member of staff did...More
