We decided to walk in here because of the laughter from the balcony and were really just hopeful for some good beer. But we got so much more. The servers were all quite friendly and helpful. Reading the menu, were we not sure about the food but when it was delivered, we were happily delighted. We could smell the delicious... More

Traveling on a Baltic Cruise our ship docked in Warnemunde, the gateway to Berlin. We did not want to take the 2 to 3 hour train ride into Berlin so we opted to walk the picturesque seaside village of Warnemunde. A local resident suggested we have lunch at Wenzel Prager and to our surprise it very pleasant. They did not... More

This Czech beer hall is in a most attractive building overlooking the canal at Warnemunde. There is an escalator up to the large attractive beer hall. The beer is all imported Czech beer so is expensive. My husband was horrified to be paying 4.80 euros for a half litre. The service was good

We had dinner but we can't recommend. Especially the Schweinshaxe (porc leg) with Sauerkraut was really poor. The meat tasted as if it had been grilled hours ago. Cold in the inside. So you know that it's not fresh. At least the beer is good. So I recommend it only for beer.

Looking for some authentic German food. a local merchant recommended this restaurant. To our surprise the restaurant was a Czech beer hall. We got an outside table overlooking the canal, which was great. The waiter was very friendly and assisted us with our selection of beer. Czech, of course. I had ordered the daily special, pig knees and my wife... More

Stopped in for lunch while touring the town of Warnemünde. They had a nice upstairs dining deck overlooking the fish pier. Great selection of Czech and Bohemian beer. Lunch selections were limited, however. We ordered the special of the day which was pork knees. Always a favorite and good. If you like beer, this is the place to be.
