A good place to eat with an excellent location, right in the center area. If you are arround you can't miss it. The location has two entrances... The food is delicious and the prices are decent. The waitress that served us was very capable and the food came fast. Overall I strongly recomand the place.

we visited this quaint beer hall in the evening. It is conveniently located in the town center. Pils Beer was good. The atmosphere is convivial. Arriving just before 11PM we were told that the kitchen was closed and there was nothing to eat. This is actually quite common. After a short discussion the waiter agreed to bring a bit of... More

We had lunch on Sunday when we visited the Christmas Market and chose the seasonal menu Goose leg and red cabbage with potato dumplings and the Chestnut Soup. Great value and extremely tasty, but left us so full it was nearly 5 hours before we could manage a waffle and hot chocolate at the Market!!

My hudband and I stumbled across this charming pub for a quick drink at lunch and decided to go back for dinner that same night. The place was decorated for the Christmas festivities which just added to the vibrant atmosphere. The meal didn't disappoint being both delicious and comforting. To large mains and drinks would set you back around €50... More

The looks and location make you fear the worst, but the food is actually pretty good. Not the usual huge German portions drowned in fat, but well executed classic local German dishes with surprisingly nice attention to detail. If you're into the classic German beerstube serves food: this is one of the best!

Popped in for a quick lunch, hungry for some local cousine and beer which turned out to be a great pick. The staff is friendly, the interior is simple but nice, just like you'd expect from a traditional German place. The prize goes for the delicious pork knuckles that fits great with a pint of local brew!

I dined along with a large (20+) group of work associates. Our waitress was lovely and kept up with the drink requests and the food came out in a timely fashion for our large group. I had the sausage soup and the pork knuckle with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Both dishes were very good, but the soup was outstanding! After... More

I've been to Germany many times and even more times to such kind of restaurants. But this was something else, the vibe, the decoration, the food and the service were simply outstanding not to earn good reviews on TripAdvisor but because everything seems to be happening from the staff's hearts.

If you like german food and beer this is the place to be in Dortmund. We came here three times here and it was always nice. Friendly service, nice beer and good food. I had the Pfefferpotthast, the traditional Dortmunder dish. It was tasty and nicely presented. In summer they have a nice terrace. Inside it can get crowdy.

Thank Filip R
