I took my niece here because Lonely Planet says it's the oldest restaurant in Dusseldorf. It has lovely wooden paneling, and my flavored steamed mussels were very good. My niece had a roast pork knuckle which she said was good. My disappointment was that the...More

We were very pleased with our dinner here - appetizers, beer, and entrees, but no room for dessert. Our server was very helpful and patient with our English. The dining room we were in had water on the floor - I'm not sure if that's...More

This is a great place to eat. It's in the old town area, lots of people watching with outside seating. There is inside seating but be careful going to the bathroom, the floor is slanted and probably has been for years, they just mark with...More

I had the Sauerbraten and it was absolutely delicious. Also, the atmosphere was great. All in all, highly recommended!

Always eat here when in Dusseldorf. Most convenient as its in the railway station complex. Good plain reasonably priced food, even do an "English breakfast" if you want one. Not only is food excellent but Schneide Weisse wheat beer is in my opinion, the best....More

Great for big groups Good food and atmosphere. Go for drinks around the area after dinner. I'd recommend the Killepitsch! With it's famous schnapps. Same name

Tried to eat here but left after we had starters. Once you make it past a very pretentious front desk you are faced with slow service and rude waiters. We left before we got in to far.
