I love an Indian meal in the UK and often have German colleagues tell me they struggle to get a good one in Germany. With a couple of nights in Munster I thought our group would try here one midweek night. Location wise it sits...right on the edge of the railway station. Inside a simple, clean and vibrant restaurant. The menu was good, though rice and naan bread choices limited. On the food front we had a range of veggie and fish starters, followed by a range of mains, standard pilau and very good naan. It seemed we all enjoyed it and the spice could be tuned up or down to suit. Mine being a jalfrezi style dish. Service throughout was very good. Menus not available in English but staff spoke reasonable English and of course there are apps to translate.More

The menu offered a wide variety of options, from classic dishes such as butter chicken and tikka masala, to lesser-known specialties like the Rogan Josh and Kerala Chicken Curry. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was also top-notch, with our server taking the time to explain the different dishes and make recommendations. But the true standout of the evening was the Biryani it was very flavorful, and had a great balance of spices and the perfect ratio of rice to meat. All in all, I highly recommend Namaste to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience. Plesantly surprised by the quality of food & service,. We visited Muenster on 02 July & was searching for an Indian restaurant to dine. Namaste popped up right at the top of Google rankings but we were not overly excited because of the past experiences...with Indian restaurants in Germany. Not expecting anything we ended up in Namaste to find friendly welcoming faces & there after fantastic food,. We ordered fish cutlets, veg pakoras as starters, malbar chicken biryani, kerala chicken curry, panzer butter masala & lanb korma, butter Naan. Kerala parotta & garlic Naan as main course. Not only that every dish tasted unique., fresh & spice rich but also in generous quantities. We can blindly recommend namaste for an unique Indian treat,. Already looking forward for our next visit. Wish they had an outlet in Duesseldorf area :(More

Me and my girlfriend ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala and a Rogan Josh. Both dishes were very tasty. The (garlic) naan is amazing! After we finished the owner came to ask us if the food was good. We had a really nice conversation about India...and some other subjects. He is a really nice guy. We definitely will come back to try out the other dishes.More
