This is the place you are looking for! Bavarian cooking and a beer brewery. Perfection. Pork loin is delicious with creamy mushroom sauce and spaetzle. Everything is spot on, as it should be. The servers and bartenders are always on the go, while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere, I highly commend them. Enjoyed watching the process behind the bar, from filling... More

Good german restaurant and micro-brewery, very good beer. It is a bit touristic place and the prices are a bit higher than in other places in Mainz. Service professional and quick enough. Beer re-supply is quick. It is a good place for for a social event for to finish a business meeting.

Are you looking for where the locals hang out? Are you looking for great food and food choices? Then you have found your place for dinner!!! They were very kind to us and welcomed us to a fun atmosphere! The restaurant has been added onto recently. It goes on and on! Towers of beer were available. This is a must.... More

My husband flies here often and has brought me twice. Once in Feb 2016 and then with his parents in October 2016. There are other places to get the feel of Germany but this is a favorite for many reasons. Built under a bridge or something, it's like entering a cave. It's so interesting and cozy! The wait staff is... More

The Eisgrub is a great traditional German Brauhaus with great beer and great food. I had the schnitzel (which was delicious) as well as a couple points of the local brew. The building it is in is really nice and clean and you can see the various vats and other equipment they use to brew the beer right in the... More

If you go with friends (please make reservations) to have a blast, beer and food (last not priority) you should have a great time there. You can order different homemade beers (brewed under premises) in a variety of original ways, go and try, it´s fun and it´s worth it. We had always a good time...

one of the best restaurant I have been to in germany. The pork knuckles are excellent. The skin is very crispy. Next time I go to frankfurt, I will eat here again just for the food. The vegetarian pasta is also very tasty.

If you're looking for a good time, then this is the place to eat. The menu is not complicated, the food is good, as is the service, and you won't break the bank eating here. It's a great place to come to at the end of the work day with friends or colleagues.

We were only there for drinks, but what a neat place, The Beer as all German Beers are great, Great atmosphere, and a great crowd. No Power drinkers that I saw. Definitely a place to go in Mainz.
