Nice decor very cosy. Tapas are good value for money and lots of choice. There are some special tapas of the day and we had the octopus. OK wine list. Service was a bit slow we were seated for 15 minutes before any one came to take our order but once ordered the food came quickly. Six tapas should be... More

The place is good, the portions were small for the price. I know they are tapas and how they work, but they are either expensive or small. Taste was very good thou, and the place was ambient and it's worth going.

We came here eight years ago and had a great meal, and we have been talking so many times about how great it was. We went back as the dinner of our first evening in Dresden, and we were not disappointed. The food and service was just as great as last time - 8 years ago.

Very climatic place with friendly and helpful staff + delicious food. Waiter told that hi isn't an amateur of fish dishes, but can recommend Zarzuela, because a lot of people told him, that is really good. "A lot of people" was right :) Plus Mexican steak and Solomillo de credo. All was delicious. Thanks! :)

El Espanol is just over the road from Bulow Palais Hotel and great for a quick casual supper. The staff were pleasant, smiley and efficient. Not all the waiters spoke English but they were happy to go with pointing on the menu and we guessed at what we wanted which was a fun adventure. The tapas we chose was delicious... More

Our first full day in Germany and still suffering from jet lag we went for a walk on Konigstrasse looking for a light dinner. We walked past El Español and it smelled great and seemed full and vibrant, unlike a lot of other restaurants in the area. It turned out to be a great choice. (It's actually about 50 meters... More

I went there with colleagues for a casual dinner. The food was really good - no complaints here. Great selection of tapas. However, the surrounding didn't quite measure up to that: at the beginning, there was one guy on the waiting staff who was plainly rude. Throwing coasters "casually" on the table is not casual and even less so if... More

We had somewhat low expectations being uncertain as to whether a German Spanish restaurant would be good, but our expectations were exceeded - nearly all of the dishes were quite tasty! And the price is very reasonable.

They have a wide choices of tapas you can order, and the week day lunch deal is a good deal :) We feel it's fulfilling and tasty.

We noticed the restaurant when we walked by. The terras outside was fully packed with only a few seats left. We asked the waiter for seating and luckily enough we were able to obtain a seat inside after a little waiting outside and at the bar. If you want to dine here it is best to make a reservation ahead.... More
