Beside the Schnitzel is other plainly good food on the menu. All very tasty and authentic local. In summer invites a lovely "Biergarten" to just have a beer or eat your meal. It certainly is not a waste of time to go there. It is located somewhat behind the Schauspielhaus (theater). From Ostra-Allee into Herta Lindner Strasse left into Queckbrunnen... More

Very good restaurant where you can get from a smaller dinner to an enormous typical German one. Good service and really extensive menu. Lots of "wild" meats.

We had a great chance to eat in this traditional German restaurant during the lunch time. The first of all the restaurant was full and we had not a reservation. Asked service for the table and they could accomodate us by the bar only. They recommended to wait and later will be table available. Done it and had a place...... More

We enjoyed eating at this family friendly restaurant/pub on a Sunday night in Dresden recently. The wine by the glass was excellent and the meal was huge. The ceramic servers and beer mugs were also nice. The range of choices was incredible and hard to believe. Great atmosphere and even though it was busy and full, that just added to... More

We were on a sentimental tour in Dresden. Our last visits (4) dated form the late 70s and early 80s. It was amazing to see how the city was upgraded. No smell of lignite, no air pollution and a high quality of town-restauration. We visited "Zum Schiesshaus" with a group of international friends. We were seated on the outside terrace.... More

We had a bit of trouble finding this place but when we did, the food we had was excellent. It was great to sit outside and feel warm and relaxed whilst eating typical German food.

First time I came here I was told to not miss a chance to have their big schnitzel. I have to say it was largest schnitzel I have ever tasted :) and the taste was really good. One year later I came to Dresden again and I choose this restaurant due to my good memories one more time. I was... More
