Lovely restaurant with good food, traditional and nouveau cuisine; during the cold season cozy inside and in summer a large outside beer garden. Good service, reasonable prices.

Nice restaurant in the old Bahnhof building. On tripadvisor it was high ranked I think a little overrated. I had the Bierkutschersteak it was gut but not the best steak I have eaten. The desert however was very good and also the home brew beers. So if you want to have good food for a nice price go eat here.

My family, which is made up of 3 generations, visited the Beyerischer Banhof after a day visiting Leipzig city centre and then the Volkerschachdentma. This vist took place l on a frosty December late day. The welcome that we received was warm and friendly. Not all of the group are German speaking but our stilted attemps at the German language... We've been many times in this restaurant, so we know what to expect. Big portions of food and good beer. We ordered Soljanka and baked camembert as an appetizer. Soljanka was delicious, the camembert was only lukewarm which is a bit of a shame. The schnitzels were huge and good. No idea why they are calling their pommes "Brauhaus pommes",... More

We had a wonderful meal here 12 months ago and so, were keen to return. This time, the staff were not as attentive, the venue was busy and service just not as good. Our two meals arrived separately-one five minutes after the other. My partner's schnitzel was burned on the underside. Overall, just not as good as before. Staff nowhere... More

A short Sbahn ride from the main square, and right next to the station exit. We booked online beforehand which was advisable as it was full (booking was easy and in english). Great atmosphere in this old railway station now converted to a Brauhaus. Friendly staff, great food and of course excellent beer

I visited solo and had the Pork knuckle which was only €11.90. This was huge. It is certainly bigger than it looks. I wonder if anyone has ever finished the whole dish. It was well cooked, moist and slightly pink in the middle and had great crackling. I think it would actually be possible to share with two people and... More

We stopped by for a few beers and a snack. This was easily accessible from the old city via the S-Bahn. I enjoyed seeing the historic train building juxtaposed with the new underground station. We sampled 3 different tap beers and each was excellent (€2.5 for .33L) Gose (unique to Leipzig), Kuper (unfiltered Weißbier), and Heizer (dark beer). We also... More
