I scream Soulmade! Simply the best. Not much of a surprise that it ranks, according to a certificate proudly hanging on the wall, amongst Germany’s top 40 ice cream parlours: the flavours are incredible, imaginative and highly addictive. No surprise either that there is frequently a long queue snaking from Fleischhauer Str. into the single room with its creeky floorboards and shabby-chic charm. €1.30 for one of the large servings is more than reasonable.
Try the salted caramel and you‘ll find it difficult not to order it again and again. Hazelnut from Piemont proved equally addictive, not to mention the not-so-humble vanilla. The one with figues and walnut was tempting taste buds, while the mango sorbet and mascarpone strawberry easily pleased. Some of the concoctions sound intriguing (Amalfi lemon with basil anyone?) and at any rate, the offering changes daily and once it’s gone, it’s gone - and that is, more often than not, sooner than you think.

The long line into the street tells you that this is a must when in Lübeck. We got annoyed that after a while in line, we found out that they only accept cash. That should be changed or at least shown on a sign visible before you enter the queue.
However, the ice cream didn’t disappoint! Especially the salted caramel was amazing, so make sure you try it. Unfortunately some other flavors were sold out, I don’t think they have the same ones every day.

I applaud searching for new and interesting ice cream flavours. We had an exceptional basil and white chocolate ice cream in Italy for example. This, however, did not cut it. Lemon and basil was unstructured in taste and uneven in texture. Pear and lavender had fine texture, but the lavender overpowered the pear and made it easy too perfume like. The caramel had a weird taste, so much in fact that we both ditched it. Sorry, for our taste, this place is hyped, and value experimentation over quality

Tasted the salty caramel, tastes very good, prices are very convenient. Line takes forever but it’s definitely worth the wait.

It's simply the best ice in town and probably one of the best ice I ever had. The location is nice and small. Sometimes there is a really long queue, but it is worth waiting.

I'm always happy if i could buy this ice cream on summer. They have interesting and fresh fruity tutti flavor to offer. Mostly full on summer bcs everybody go there just to have super nice ice cream, you must try it ;)

Anyone who has ever tasted this excellent ice cream is spoiled for good, because the quality bar is now set so high that all other ice cream parlors fall far behind. This is probably true across the whole country.
