Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the place. Very cozy space, the staff are super friendly and nice. We felt like we were invited into family home for a lovely dinner. Though usually kids do not eat the food , which is a lot different than they are used to,...they ate here. And prices are also not too high. Definitely recommend this place and would love to come back some day again!More

Such an authentic meal in the heart of Almeria. Almeria did not really impress, however these women did. Such a great couscous experience. You definitely made my other half's day as he is half Algerian, so he missed this type of meal as we live...in Kraków, Poland. Hand's down to the fabulous crew in the kitchen. The min lemonade was also really nice. In general, a very lovely local place which seems to be very popular indeed. Nice rooftop area, nice garden area, and nice indoor area. A place for everyone:) Only minus was the size of the chocolate cake for 3 euros which was a very small piece.More

Peaceful restaurant/teahouse in the back streets near the Alcazaba there is a sign to help you find it. Couscous was delicious accompanied by homemade bread. The specialist teas looked good but I didn't try them. Indoors and inside all very peaceful and cool, service great.

This place was recommended to us and I can see why. The food was made fresh and the cooling lemon and mint drink, was very much needed on a hot city visit. The young lady who served us was very knowledgeable and spoke several languages....The food was so good that we returned for a second time. The hummus, Moroccan salad and chicken skewers are amazing.More

The staff was very nice and accommodating. I arrived to pick up a take-out order, not realizing that they use a delivery service. They made up my order a second time while I waited and were very pleasant, even including a complimentary dessert. The food...was delicious.More

This is my go-to restaurant every time I am in Almeria. Love the food! The tajin is my favorite and I highly recommend trying the mint lemonade.

Very nice restaurant located in a small street of the centre of Almeria. Typical dishes from Morocco served in a relaxing place. The lemonade is very good.

The Moroccan food here is extremely good - the best home cooking. It's a lovely setting both outside and inside. Staff are very friendly and we kept coming back during our trip to Almeria.

Looking through TripAdvisor for a resturant for a special occasion we found this place. So off we went having had only a couple of North African meals. We asked the chef/owner to recommend dishes, great decision. We started with chicken kebabs, hummus with a chilli...dip, Moroccan bread. Fantastic, …. Lamb tajine, Amazing …. Lemon Chicken and cos cos… brilliant. My chef hero , Rick Stein , says … “good ingredients cooked simply and with love is the best”… this was. Portions were generous and value was amazing . If you only eat in one resturant in Almeriá this is it, mostly street seating, ….. seating, tables eclectic 😀 but who cares with food like this. Congrats chef and family who served us. 😋😋 P.S. no alcohol but you won’t miss it.More

The food was amazing and the portions were really generous. We ordered 4 medium plates between two people and we were absolutely stuffed. The mint lemonade was extremely refreshing and our server was friendly and keen to ensure that we were enjoying everything. A great...spot to eat on your way to or from the Alcazaba, or just to enjoy wonderful Moroccan food.More

We came as a family of 4, two adults and 2 children. Very friendly people met us at the door, the lady who hosted us gave us some tea on the house. We ordered a lot of food, the portions are massive and soooo tasty...and fresh! I would say this is way better then in the hotel Golf and Spa with 5 stars, the food here is amazing, would highly recommend!More

Revisited and still delicious food with fresh homebaked bread. Nice 'homely' ambiance. Do not expect fast service, everything is cooked to order and worth waiting for. A bit of a mix up with the change after we paid - be careful to check.
