We came across this restaurant on a walking tour and managed to find our way back afterwards. It is in a tiny patio just off Deanes. The staff speak little English but the menu has helpful pictures of the dishes and these are on the walls also. I had the flamenquin, which looks like an enormous croquette, but is pork... More

Located down a dead end alley this can be hard to find but is well worth it. Portions were large and the waiter was happy for you to dictate the pace for the meal. Starter of aubergine with honey was more than enough for two to share. Tuna was cooked just right and the Presa Iberica was really tender. We... More

The patio is nice. The food is awful. The rabbit was dry & the sauce tasteless. The ox tail was better. The paella was a lemony soupy mess with a ton of spoiled clams. The waiter was pleasant. Skip this place.

We had a meal there on Monday afternoon. Day menu was excellent. Big portions, really delicious food and what where important typical of the region. The service provided was also excellent.

It is a little hidden and the little plaza in front is kind of charming and very typical for the area. The food wasn't inspired and the waiter was ok but kind of bored. Let's say he wasn't keen on making friends. Very typical Spanish Menu.

The best real Spanish tavern in town! It is difficult to find, but go there if you want proper herez (sherry!), the best Oloroso in Cordoba from a barrel, ditto the PX. Lunch outside in the square was good with a varied menu (in English as well), although in November it was very quiet in the evenings, perfect for pre-dinner... More

Never ate a bull's tail before, but it tasted very good. Happy that we found this place, would advice it to everyone. Leave the standard streets and dive into the alley. You get a little of real Andalus. By the way, did you know that this very friendly owner used to be a matador when he was young..

I was told that this restaurant was very good; not only the food is tipically Cordoba, but also the interior is typically Cordoba. A lot of photos of (former) bull fighters. I was here in 1996, I remembered it as a good place, That is , if you are allowed to enter the restaurant. A fat waiter was standing in... More

Lovely little tapas bar/restaurant tucked up a narrow alleyway. Great place for a long lunch, friendly service and a decent range of tasty and well-priced tapas. Nice atmosphere, would come here again.
