Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice spot for tapas! Raùl was very nice and gave us an amazing service. Really liked the cod and oranges salad and fried aubergines.

Friendly restaurant that is open earlier than most for evening tapas. Free wifi with menu available on line. Good food and service. Thank you to Pepa for her friendly service.

This is the place that saved us with food served when all other restaurants are still closed. Not so easy to find other places in Cordoba that serve food almost all day. Food was tasty and service friendly and efficient. Maria did really a good...work to make sure we have a good time in the restaurant.More

I ordered the Chicken Tangine which was very tasty. The service was fantastic. Jose took care of us and made sure we made it to our walking tour on time.

Great food and service. The waiter was alone but was very quick. The food is just great and everything we picked had nothing to be critical about but praise

We ate at this restaurant twice in 2018 and rated it 5*, complimenting it on its good service, good value, and good food. We were looking forward to eating here again in 2024, but it didn't live up to our previous experience. Last time, printed...menus listed the full menu aswell as a set meal of local specialities. The waiting staff took time to help us choose. In 2024, the menu was accessed via a QR code on the table, there was no set menu evident, and it was tricky to navigate. The waiting staff were not interested in helping us to consider the options. To be fair, 14th February is a busy time in restaurants, and perhaps the staff were too rushed off their feet?? In 2018, eating here was a very pleasurable experience, but this week it was anything but. The food was OK but not great. On a positive note the head waiter appeared remarkably efficient when we ordered additional drinks. Hopefully this was just a one off poor experience.More

Bodegas Mezquita Céspedes did not disappoint. Our server Yubry was friendly and helpful as we decided how many dishes to order. We had the eggplant and the tuna with mojito sauce as starters. Each dish was memorable and delicious! We had the chicken tagine which...was outstanding. If you are looking for a restaurant with authentic food, nice ambience and attentive service, look no further.More

Had a wonderful lunch in this Spanish Restaurant in the narrow lanes by the Cathedral and the food was delicious. We arrived just as they opened up at 12:30 and by 1 o’clock, it was pretty full. Extensive menu. Recommend the lamb and couscous. There...are many options to have different sizes of Tapas. The service was efficient and quick and with a smile. Our server Fran did a great job.More

We passed by this restaurant by chance during a short visit to Còrdoba. When we entered, we were welcomed by very friendly staff members, who provided us with excellent service during the whole time we spent there. The food (tapas) was amazing and innovative. When...we received our bill, our lovely waitress had painted a heart on it ad an expression of how she loved her clients. I would go there again every time I return to Còrdoba!More

Very tasty food with real local touch. The chicken soup for we which had carved for had finished. The replacing dish was Day's Stew - lentil was delicious. Our favourite was chicken with basmati rice. Caliphate's eggplant speciality's filling; eggplant was too raw (not cooked...enough) for our taste but enjoyable. We will definitely revisit Bodegas Mezguita 👌More

I use TripAdvisor to find places to eat. Always. This place was #5 in Cordoba and we happened to be standing outside. In we went and José welcomed us. The place was full (of course!). We ordered a few dishes and every single one was...delicious!! I can’t fault the food, the atmosphere, or the service! I’d tidally recommend this place. It was worthy of the #5 spot. I’d love to see what top 4 are like!!More

We had a lovely lunch here with Pepa as our server. We tried the menu del dia and it was a very good value. For our starter we had the most delicious version of berenjenas (eggplant) and the salmorejo. My husband had the fried cod...main course which he liked very much but my Iberian pork stew was the best. The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth and the portion was so large I couldn’t finish it. We had a glass of the house white wine and the dessert was the unusual (to me) orange slices with olive oil, sugar and cinnamon. Such a good place to have a lunch in Córdoba. It’s helpful to have a reservation but it’s very easy to make one online from their website.More
