We have eaten here twice this week and both times a pleasure. They have a separate vegetarian menu with a fantastic choice. Amaltea is definitely up there with Paprika in Granada. Thank you Amaltea.

Amaltea has strong focus on healthy food and serves a lot of veggie and gluten free options. We loved the food which we found very creative and excellent. Had 4 excellent dishes: - Muhammara which is a Paste of pepper with nuts - fresh and tasty - melted goat cheese with herbs that we enjoyed as a dip with gluten... More

You can always tell a good place when the locals line up to eat there. Amaltea has to be one of the best restaurants in Cordoba. Great place for being vegan, there were many options, and the staff very accommodating. I had the best tabuleh in Amaltea, and we went back there twice in a three day stay!

As vegeterians we loved it. Home like food away from home. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was great and the food delicious. Highly recommended!

I wish I could specify that this was a fantastic meal, though I couldn't quite put it into the top three of my life, for example. I really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Very reasonably priced, great variety in the menu and nice atmosphere. Great dessert, too!

Dropped in on spec late lunch time after couple of other places along river front were full. Very happy to have done so. Bright modern interior. Friendly staff. Very high quality, modern take on local cuisine. Carefully selected wine list. Good value relative to quality

Organic, local, inventive and flavorful! Our salads and asparagus (with peanut mole) were to-die for! Plenty of vegetarian options and awesome carnivorous selections too. The noodle wok, veggie lasagne and mango fried chicken were our entres. We loved them all. The wine selection, while pricier than we've experienced, was the best yet. The ambiance (eclectic, with warm colors) and service... More

By the river front and mequita, the chef seems to enjoy putting a creative twist on how dishes are presented. The goats cheese starter was served like a dip with little toasts studded with raisins. Vegetable lasagne was somewhat deconstructed, with the layers and cheese and vegetables quite loosely laid out but I found it enjoyable. If you're vegetarian and... More

The restaurant offers organic food. It is a great alternative for vegetarians who don't want to eat tapas. Of course, there are non-vegetarian meals as well.
