Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Myself and my wife visited the twice D’Ucles during our stay in Córdoba and enjoyed both times. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Very tasteful deco and setting. Food was superb on both visits and would highly recommend.

Me and a couple of friends were in Cordoba for a day and stopped at this restaurant because it looked pretty. At first it was great, the location is very cute and typical. My glass was dirty so I asked for a replacement, they gave...me another dirty one. The food was average neither good nor bad. Also the waitress didn’t know the dishes he was bringing outside. And last but not least the woman that made us pay was very rude, she told us we were waisting her time because we paid separately.More

We had a really wonderful meal here. The food is excellent, and there is a covered interior patio that is lovely. I came here with local residents, and we had the Cordoba menu. It was so fun to eat local food! One other friend had...the salmon, which was delicious. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the street, but give it a try. It’s amazing!!!More

We stumbled upon the place when we popped in for a beer early one lunchtime, the place looked lovely and the staff were friendly and all the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled good so we booked a table for...that evening. We did the right thing, all the food we had was tasty, well presented and well cooked and the service was excellent, friendly and helpful but professional. We had such a fabulous evening, in the moorish styled terrace inside the restaurant, we came back for more the next night and it did not disappoint! We will certainly eat there again next time we are in Cordoba! We can recommend the rabo del toro, the kebabs and the spiced lambwith couscous as well as the special spiced chicken pie.... all very tasty! and also great value for money, what a find!More

Looking for somewhere away from the main thrash of tourists we stumbled across the Taberna De Ucles about a five minute walk from the Mezquita. Somewhat surprised at the poor reviews given to the place when we looked it up afterwards on TripAdvisor. Our visit...at around 13:00 was great! We had a lovely, filling, three course Menu del Dia plus drink for a very modest 11 euros. Service was fast and friendly and the partially covered courtyard was very atmospheric.More

My husband and I stumbled across this restaurant mid afternoon (1430 ish) we were welcomed by a lovely lady who said she would clean a table for us. We had 5 tapas to share between us, the fried aubergines in honey were delicious, glass of...beer, glass of wine, large bottle of water. We were then tempted by dessert and chose the Arabic pastries to share. We also had 2 coffees. All of this came to 26€, a complete bargain. I don’t understand the bad reviews one bit. The customer service was excellent and the food and surroundings perfect! They even put up with our terrible attempts at speaking Spanish.More

The experience started well, we ordered mixed salad which included, on the menu, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, boiled egg, tuna, white asparagus etc. We also ordered two tapas of meat in a tomato sauce and Moorish potatoes. The salad came without any tuna or white asparagus...- when this was queried with the waitress she took the salad away and returned with some flaked tuna on top but no asparagus with no apology or anything - if you state on your menu that a meal contains a series of ingredients then please have the decency to advise when some will be missing. We were ignored during the rest of our meal whilst those around us were fussed over. Needless to say I won’t be returning to Taberna D’Ucles.More

When I entered they made me wait for 14 minutes. Then after taking a seat I waited for them to collect my order. Despite inviting them to do so, they never considered me. I kept waiting for 40 minutes (no less). Eventually I left the...restaurant not even trying anything.More

The customer service in this place is below ZERO!!! The place looks lovely and we decided to take a coffee, but obviously we were interrupting the waiters who were all the time saying “just a moment” to finish something. I wanted to order a cake,...but the waitress was not interested to explain what cakes they had - she said that once she puts all the cakes in a display box she would call me, which obviously never happened! There are many other great places in cordoba, so do not be lured but this lovely courtyard!More

Nasty customer poaching approach: we sat down to have a drink. When preparing to get up the waiters told us they have a flamenco show coming up in 15’. As consequence we changed our lunch plans, stayed here longer, had average-ish food instead. No show...happened; when at the end we tried to ask what had changed with the show, the waiters literally ignored us, walked past us no matter how much we insisted.More

Senior Martinez told us that his sister will dance flamenco and she never arrived. Also he didn’t pay much attention to our needs. Good food but bad services.

Fed up with salmorejo, I decided to treat myself to a proper meal. I had vegetable cous cous which was delicious, and two glasses of white wine. The service was good and cool patio welcome respite from the 40 degrees outside. All in all a...very pleasant meal. 17 euros well spent.More
