Very pleasant waiters. Steak was melt in the mouth accompanied by Malaga style potatoes (very authentic). Roasted vegetables at 9 euros were tasty but overpriced. Vegetables on the side would make the meal excellent.

Taverna Cantarrana had fried berengenas (eggplant) with a dark honey dipping sauce. And they also had grilled veggies. It was more than I could manage alone. Great service. They also have a couple of salads.

The historic centre of Malaga is jam packed with restaurants - some catering specifically for tourists where the food is toned down a little, or sold cheaply, or fast turn-over is important: and then there are the others! Taberna Cantarrana is one of the 'Others'....More
