Went there because the good reviews on TA. Overall we had a very good experience. this place is more expensive then the local restaurants in Malaga, and it looked like almost all the diners were tourists (if not all of them). Having said that, we got a good value for what we paid: Service- was great, although the place was... More

Creative, delicious tapas in a great atmosphere made for a memorable night out. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff led me through an eclectic array of small plates that were hands down the best I've had on any trip to Spain. Reservations are a must.

Upon presentation at the door just after opening time without a reservation (not smart), we were extremely lucky (and now grateful) to get a table for four. The combination of homely hospitality, efficient service, delicious tapas in a lively environment, made for a truly enjoyable evening, thank you El Melson.

We visited there Saturday May 14, 2016 ,though we had no reservation they were able to find us some room and boy, we're we thankful they did!!! The place itself is beautifully decorated but the best thing there (besides the food), is their staff. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The personal service... More

Although the restaurant doesn't officially open until 7.30 they allowed us in at 7.00. Staff are very friendly. We chose all four of the tapas on their 'specials' board. A lovely atmosphere matched by great cooking at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.

We went here on our last night or we would have gone again. From initial greeting through dessert the meal was a pleasure. The staff was very personable and the food was excellent.

We enjoyed the evening very much. I recommend that you should go there if you are in Malaga. The personnel are very relevant and the food is perfect.

I have never been treated the way they treated me and my friends when we came to this "restaurant". We booked a table for eight people and were really impressed with the atmosphere. Nice location, nice decor. It looked perfect. But it was too good to be true, as it turned out. First of all, we waited for half an... More

First things first: The food is great. We were sat right next to the open kitchen and we could see how freshly the food was cooked and the seasoning that goes into it. We were in on a Monday night and the place was full, 0 Spanish people in though and the restaurant knows this, trying to get through as... More

Seven of us booked this restaurant on the advise of Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. It is not fine dining nor is it white linen but the atmosphere, service and food was only buzzing and there was a great crowd there and we were so glad that we had booked through "thefork" as so many people arrived without...
