My wife and I spent a wonderful evening sampling many Iberian food delights and sampling different Spanish wines to match. Our waiter and the restaurant manager were very attentive and more than pleased to explain the menu and to suggest different pairings. We arrived early and the place filled up fast. And with reasons. The food is delicious, well-presented, and... More

We enjoyed great food, good wine and very fair price. We had the dear and sea bream and they were very good. The red tuna was a bit boring and maybe somewhat overcooked. Everything else made up for it though.

Fantastic food but even better staff and owners. They make the experience exceptional. Tried other places but kept returning to the joys of the food and the welcome at El Meson. They deserve to do well. They really care on both counts. It was by far the best we tried in the evenings, using the markets for lunch. Well done.

I think this is one of the best meals I have had in a long time, and certainly the best in Malaga ( and we have eaten WELL in this city!) Love the flexibility of menu, you can have a tapa, half portion, or full portion. The friendly and attentive staff can advise you. We tried ( for 2) 3... More

El Meson de Cervantes is a very welcoming and friendly restaurant. There was a problem with our reservation but I think that was because of a misunderstanding on the phone because we don't speak Spanish. Regardless, they found a table for us (5) and offered us drinks. The decor is modern and cosy. The food is excellent. I highly recommend... More

Was recommended to come to this restaurant for dinner during our night in Malaga. Excellent recommendation, lively atmosphere and very busy - Wednesday night. Service was friendly and helpful and the food was great.

We went here for dinner before a Flamenco show. We were a bit early, no problem. The waiter was fantastic. The service was great. Little English spoken, but my Spanish is not so good either. Fun. We had some tapas from their tapas bar menu. The meal was fabulous. Cooked perfectly. We sat near the open kitchen area and were... More

This is a great culinary experience in Spain. The decor is modern, the service professional, the food and wine exceptional. Spanish food with a contemporary twist: we found that to order half portions of the main courses and share worked very well. In this way you get to taste some of the different dishes available. We had copas of the... More

A pre-Christmas visit to Malaga included a visit to El Meson de Cervantes. This modern, cosy restaurant was full. The ambience was felt since the staff was included in this family restaurant and you felt welcome. The food was plentiful and nicely presented. Definitely a place to come back for another visit. A short walk and you in the heart... More

We had a great dinner a thursday night and the restaurant was fully booked. There was such a great spirit and atmosphere and all the staff was doing a great effort to make us feel at home and well cared for.
