Over 5 years and each time the food has improved. Previously had dined outside but in early Jan. a table for 5 was needed inside and hence the reason I stick at 4 stars. All the meals were fine, the pasta dishes really excellent, intense flavours, but the upstairs room is not designed for lovely but noisy families from over... More

This is just magical. Great location, amazing food & super staff. I cannot say enough good things about Il Tartufo. We had actually booked into a different very well regarded restaurant but they had a fixed menu and could not really cater for two vegetarians.... I had wanted to try Il Tartufo for ages but hadn't got around to it.... More

This was a special treat for us to go to this restaurant as it had been highly recommend by another restauranteur as being excellent for fine dining Italian food…..but it's speciality is really just truffles, not for everybody!! The location and decor of the restaurant is excellent and we had the anti-paste for 2 to start and then we had... More

We own a place in Marbella since more than 20 years and have had dinner in many good places, Marbella Club, Puente Romano and other great places, some even closed down already. Our new discovery was the Il Tartufo and it was a treat. The location is not easy to find, we actually discovered it because of a mayor renovation... More

The staff need to decide on a language. My brochetta was mistaken for a porchetta so I couldn't eat with my dining partner. Well she didn't want her crab pasta kept warm. When the brochetta of monkfish and prawns arrived it was over cooked, although the risotto was fine. I ought to give them another chance as it's such a... More

We had dinner here last week. Although I agree that the food was tasty, it took them 45min to prepare the entree which was a soup & quinoa salad. Over one hour for the main meals and the most expensive meals we had during the whole holiday. The menue looks fancy but I would not go back there. Few days... More

With my better half we decided to have dinner in this restaurant in the old Town of Marbella. We eat al fresco on a Tuesday evening and the Restaurant was quite full. Having just two main courses and two glasses of wine and a dessert to share you can have exceptionally cooked food with a very nice ambience for approx.... More

Had a delicious meal at Il Tartufo. An Italian menu that is difficult to choose from, as everything sounds so good. Everything I ate was delicious, and try and make room for the dessert - the lemon sorbet and prosecco was amazing!
