Could be more generous with the portions and could have a better service. Might be one of the best in Marbella, but surely not among the best in Spain.

This small restaurant is truly a local gem in this area with so much turisma. The fish was so fresh and well prepared. It appeared to be mostly local. We had the grilled squid, anchovies, tomato salad, potatoes, and sardines. I didn't care much for Marbella, but this place made the pit stop more than worth it.

Really enjoyed our evening here - no booking so had to wait for 40 mins - but with a bottle of white and somewhere to stand/sit the time went quickly. Once called out table was prepared - paper table cloths etc. Extremely friendly and the food was to die for. My favourites Calamari a la planca and Dorada espeto The... More

We went to this restaurant because it has been recommended to us by a local person and it has been the best place we have eaten in. Not expansive at all compared to a lot of fancy touristic places in Marbella, very good seafood and grilled fish, very good service. We loved it and recommend it!

We were originally searching for a sushi restaurant when we came across this cosy, small, local Spanish restaurant. Great choice of tapas and side dishes. Fish and seafood are fresh and served grilled or fried. Has a local flavour and good prices! Simply excellent! We stayed three days in Marbella and only once did we eat elsewhere.

Local great food: Simple, quick, Fresh and inexpensive. Their espetos are the best we tasted during our stay in the region. Their calamari were perfectly cooked. And their salads tasted as salads. (Not easy nowadays). Get a glass of manzanilla and enjoy! Shame they serve no coffees.

We had passed by this restaurant a few times before we stopped for lunch. We got the last table on the terrace. This restaurant was full every time we passed by and they were all locals. I do not think we ever saw tourists. Nonetheless they did speak some English and we were able to order. They had all kinds of... More

Discovered this delightful bar/restaurant last night. It was just what we were looking for. Lovely selection of fresh fish. We had the red snapper served with a crisp salad. The flan which had been marinated figs in Pedro Jimenez sauce was one of the best flans I have ever had in SPain. White wine was delicious. This is a very... More

Visited last week having last been there some years ago. At the edge of the old town and totally unassuming but exceptional quality food mostly seafood. The sardines are superb as is the pilpil. Lunch for two hungry men with mineral water was 24 euro and the quantities are decent. A selection of starters is a good way to try... More

It is a very simple cafe like restaurant on the way to oldtown. We were very lucky to notice the crowd of the place while others were empty. They put papers on the table and with a very fast serving we ate mouthwatering local seafood. Even the tomatoes were the best we had eaten in Andolucia. We ate sardines, mussels,... More
