Had both a supper and a lunch here. Friendly place with pleasant ambience, scores of hams hanging above the bar. The portions are huge, costing on average around €7 or 8. The waiter stopped us from ordering too much! The house red wine is cheap, rough but drinkable. Cooking is decent – but this sort of menu does not need... More

Such a good find, enjoyed this so much we went back for drinks twice in one evening! Very traditional, lots of tiles, check tablecloths and hanging 'jamones'. Food really good - traditional, rustic (so don't expect small portions dressed with balsamic vinegar), rice dishes, menu del dia, tapas, etc and HUGE portions. Really excellent value. Staff friendly and happy to... More

We were the only people in the restaurant and so the service wasn't slow. The tapas ranged from EUR 2,20 for a small glass of gazpacho to EUR 14,00 for 100g of jamón Ibérico. The majority, however were EUR 6,95 a portion which is quite pricey, particularly given that there was nothing particularly special about them - they were pretty... More

I am very surprised to read all these positive comments about this restaurant. Personally it was the worst culinary experience of my whole trip in Andalousia and the most disgusting and expensive tapas I ate so far. What a shame to serve such big plates full of untasty food and uncooked french fries. These are not tapas!!!!!

We visited this place a couple of times over 4 days, staying far longer than intended! The free tapas with each round of drinks was delicious, the waiter was friendly and they have pipes blowing cool mist on you when you sit outside- most welcome when it's 40 degrees!! Drinks Prices are also reasonable considering it's location in the main... More

Very poor service. We had to wait endlessly. We left after 15 minutes - so I cannot judge the food. The other guests had bad habits.

Good fixed price menu €11 which includes 3 courses bread & wine. Not much choice for egetarians on fixed price but other options on main Menu. Good white Rooks, main course averaged €12.

Lots of set menus to chose from which are actually good value for money and surprisingly good for a very touristy restaurant.

Our first night in Granada found us walking down the long, steep, hill from our hotel. Alixares, and we found ourselves in the old Arab Quarter, choosing to eat here as it looked charming and welcoming. We were seated by the bar, which allowed us to see how the tapas was being prepared from the many hams hanging from the... More

We stopped by here a couple times while in Granada. We received a mixed fried seafood tapa with our first drinks and on subsequent visits Seafood chowder and an Oxtail like dish with bread. Drinks were 2 Euros, my wife made her dinner out of a couple of delicious Seafood Chowders. The waiter even brought the tapa we wanted! The... More
