Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very welcoming waiter! Food good! Croquetas de queso are amazing! We were in Granda four days and had lunch/dinner there 3times 😊 On the picture porkcheeks in wine sauce...yammy Only point, no aircondition... but ventilation!

We arrived a bit late, around 15:35, we just wanted a flamenquin because we knew it was big enough to share and specially good, they were running out of it, but the chef he found time to make it on the moment!!! (Most of the...chef don't do that). I'm a big fan of that dish and I can tell it is the best in town for sure!!!!! I was full of brie cheese, with French fries and grilled veggies!! Also the waiter was so good, he was kind and close, we just loved the whole vibe! Muchas gracias chicos! Hemos disfrutado un montón de la comida de verdad! La Carmen se va a los toros y yo a echar una siesta!!! Amenazamos con volver!!!More

Very good food, nice personal. We enjoyed our stay there. The calamar plate was really big and really tasty!

Read how great the food and service was here so gave it a try. Never again. Being new to the tapas experience my wife and I approached the evening with a nervousness, not knowing much Spanish. They were not helpful, not happy, not interested in...foreigners. Very busy with locals though. We had two drinks and two plates of fatty food and left feeling like crap. Oh well. Next.More

We came to this place on our last evening in Granada. We ordered drinks and got good sized free tapa for the three of us. Beef was sooo soft we didn't even need knives. Our second round of drinks was followed by another tapa -...prawn skewers. All in all, nice easy going atmosphere, great service, nice tapas, kids and family friendly.More

If there was a zero I'd give it that. Beware server recommendations and cash only. Ended up with a 30+ euro dish on a recommendation and had to make an unplanned atm run. Rookie mistake not asking how much for a special in a restaurant...referred by a trustworthy source. Find somewhere else like la sitarilla.More

Yes, this place is great and pretty easy to find. It was recommended by the guys who own the Airbnb we stayed in. We sat at the bar counter and despite our lack of Spanish and their lack of English it all worked out. Quite...simply, you order your drink and then you get a delicious tapa with each drink. The drinks are very cheap yet a good portion size of tapa comes your way. The service was very good and we were made to feel right at home. You can quite easily enjoy your drinks and leave very full. Good ambience and the place filled up pretty quickly after opening.More

We came to experience free tapas with drinks. The tapas were delicious and very well portioned. After we saw pictures of the octopus, we decided it was a must try. The octopus dish with egg, potato and jamon came out looking very impressive. It was...a good dish, but it was really rich and even somewhat overwhelming for our taste. Be ready for very large portioned and rich dishes. The server who spoke English was helpful and accommodating. There were lots of locals there.More

We only stayed in Granada 2 nights and this place was recommended by Miriam who owned the apartment we stayed at - what a fantastic recommendation. The drink was top quality and well priced but every time you ordered a drink you got a superb...(and large) Tapa for two. We had to tell them to stop bringing the food out as we could not eat any more - 11 glasses of Wine (both red and white were great) and 2 large beers cost 48.20 Euros - I gave them 60 euros as all the food was free and I felt I was robbing them. If I ever go back I will be going straight here for 8.30pm opening and will tell anyone who wants to listen about this place. AMAZING.More

Came here for drinks and tapas and wasn’t disappointed. I had the house rosé and it was a great wine, particularly for €3! Came with free tapas, as is the custom in Granda. The tapas was a delicious stew with bread. Service was good -...staff were friendly and efficient.More

We ate here for dinner. Only one other table at the 'restaurant' end was occupied, by another British couple. All the Spanish folks were at the 'bar' end, having tapas. Perhaps there's a lesson there! The waitress didn't speak a word of English and we...didn't understand most of the menu, so Google Translate came to our rescue - we also helped the other couple with their selection! We ordered Milhoja de Solomillo to share between two - what arrived was a humungous stack of beautifully cooked tender beef, liver paté, and goats cheese, with an array of potatoes and veg around the edge. It was absolutely divine! With a drink each and croquetas for a starter, the total bill was a little over 40€, which seems about mid-range for our dining experiences in Spain, but definitely good value for the huge pile of food we received.More

Charming interior. We popped in for a couple of drinks. Each round came with a delicious and very substantial tapa. The set-up was a little confusing - we worked out that the low seats are for a la carte and the high stools for tapa....We waited for some time on our perch, trying to catch the eye of the busy waiter milling around. No service came so we ordered at the bar. One tapa was served from there, another brought to our table. The service was efficient. If we’d been less confused by how it all worked we’d have given it a five.More
