Decided to have a rest and a couple of drinks in the old part of town with a couple of light tapas. Found a table in the shade, up against a wall in a busy little food area and all was good. Good variety of tapas available although the menu was in Spanish but managed to order prawn rebozadas &... More

Thoroughly rude waiter refused to seat us after consulting an old caballero on the neighbouring table despite plenty of available chairs that could have been brought over. Rude and appalling.

We found El Cordobes by accident - avoiding the too obvious tourist tapas places on the busy street. We went inside and had a intimate meal, despite the TV with Italian football. The waiter was our friend, recommended the wine (great Finca Resolsas) and made us feel welcome. The gazpacho, the paella, the andalucian salad and the tender beef with... More

The food was honestly bad. We had tapas, surely not for the first time, but it was the worst tapa my friend and I ever had. The meat (which was not supposed to be raw) was halfway raw, also it simply did not taste as well as the tapas you can get a few meter beside. The chickpeas with spinach... More

Quick service. Friendly staff. Serves classic tapas dishes. Frankly, compared to what's available in Sevilla this is fairly pedestrian cuisine and redeems itself by being ordinary in an authentic way. No pretence. It's other redeeming feature is it's a quiet shaded area in an otherwise busy part of town.

I knew we were in trouble when the bread came in plastic wrap. When I asked for the wine list the waiter said he only had two wines, one red and one white. Neither would win prizes. The food was of the sort where the sauces probably came in cans from a grocery store. The outdoor table was small and... More

We stopped in for 2 caña por favor! And decided to have 2 tapas (2.50€ each). Everything was great. Very large portions and great taste. Other places sell paella for 12-20€ per person minimum 2 person. I had a great paella for only 2.50€!! The calamari was done perfectly. I am going back.

Seville is a city full of delicious food, this restaurant is incredibly disappointing in comparison. We had the meat paella. The rice and vegetable part of the dish had clearly been reheated from frozen, as it was ready in just 5 mins (freshly made paella should take at least 20). It was full of bones and grizzle, no actual meat... More

This hidden gem is on the outside of the Santa Cruz area, We were on a tapas run so we tried about 12 of theirs I will not recommend any as tapas are the kind of food that some may not be as popular to some than others. Portions and value were good.
