This little Moroccan restaurant welcomed us warmly in spite of the fact that we were nearly half an hour late having been caught up in the crowds waiting to see the procession of the statue of Christ carrying His Cross. The service was friendly and the food very good. The mixed mezes were excellent. Among the many courses we had lamb and chicken on skewers, a very simple dish but cooked perfectly.

There is an interesting choice of specialist Moroccan food, all delicious and well presented. The people who run it are helpful and friendly, and always prepared to explain their dishes to those unfamiliar to this cuisine. We really enjoyed our evening there. Incidentally it's described as 13 Calle San Roque, when it's next door to another restaurant of that address! I can't remember it's number, but think it's 14 - worth checking out. And the whole place is worth checking out anyway,

I ate outside for lunch with my family. This is our 5th time here as we live in Seville. I had the cous cous with verduras because I am vegan. I also had the morracan bread with a spread that came with it. At the end they brought me a very nice hot morracan tea. The rest of the family is not vegan and they got other items that they said were delicious. The owner came to visit our table and he was really focused on making sure we had a nice experience . The wait staff was incredible and served us very well. The location is nice and great for people watching if you sit outside . The food was delicious and the service was great and the price is very reasonable for the quality. For anyone that likes morracan food, I would highly recommend Al Medina . We always leave happy every time we come

We went on a Friday night for dinner. The restaurant is not easy to find in the old city, but when we found it, the decor was authentic Moroccan and enticing. However, that was the end of our enjoyment. We ordered glasses of wine which were off, served from a bottle already opened and probably had not been corked properly. So we instead ordered a whole bottle of Cune, which was good. To start one had hummus, the other harira soup. The hummus was really thin and watery and left mainly untouched. The soup was OK. For mains, one chose tajine of chicken, the other skewer of chicken. Tajines are normally served piping hot in a very hot pottery tajine dish. This tajine we were served was barely warm and the tajine dish itself also virtually cold. There was also visible liquid fat floating on the tajine, The dish was left untouched. The chicken skewer was OK, but we only ate left half. The waiter asked if we wanted to have the tajine dish heated up, but by this time we had lost our appetites. We paid the bill in full and left. At 9.45 pm we were the only diners.

Both the staff and the atmosphere are very pleasant. It is a very nice place, it doesn't matter if you want to go with friends or with a partner or alone because the atmosphere invites conversation and the enjoyment of food and a little reading. The house appetizers, the poultry pie and a chicken tagine with apricot were the dishes we tried, along with the house wine, quite well priced (€53 in total) and all very delicious.

The venue was authentic Moroccan. However, we were put off by the strong odour of incense throughout the premises. We wanted to order Moroccan wine but we were informed it was not available. We then opted for an alternate wine from Spain which was also not available. In the end, we ordered a bottle of Cune which was satisfactory. The aperitivo was fine. The hummus was tasty with some faint spices including cumin. The complementary slices of bread worked well with the hummas. My lamb tagine with dates was very good, but it could have benefitted from additional spices. My partner’s chicken tagine was barely tepid and he consequently lost his appetite. None of the staff bothered to inquire whether we enjoyed our main courses.

We were delighted to have discovered this cozy restaurant with Moroccan cuisine in Sevilla city centre. The booking was easy through "The Fork`. On arrival at the restaurant, the maitre de, who also is the owner, showed us to our table. We were attended by cheerful staff. The food was delicious WXe ordered the Moroccan salad which was quite refreshing and also the pastel Ave (puff pastry with spiced chicken filling) which was very tasty with a lovely mix of flavours. The chicken tagine which we ordered had almonds and apricots and was very delicious. The traditional Moroccan tea and pastries with it were the perfect way to finish our meal We would highly recommend this restaurant for a cozy Moroccan lunch anytime, especially on a cool winter afternoon. We wish all the best and hope the restaurant continues to serve a lot of customers in the future

The food was amazing, our host Farid was very friendly and recommended a lot of things to us. Ended our visit with an amazing mint tea on the house. If you don’t know what to get, try the pastella con pollo, Here’s a pic of the couscous

The olives served before the starter are really delicious, best in my life. Moroccan salad is also very good, and very authentic. The lamb tajine with almond, rasin and some special source is very good, the sweetness is totally soaked by the meat. Cuscus is a lot.

Because of the size and price of the dishes, being two people, we could only order two dishes... One of them, the cake, we loved but it was too much and the other seemed bland and expensive for what it was. Allegedly chicken tajín with almonds and dates, which were actually chicken (with bone) 4 almonds and 1 date. Period. It had no Arabic touch or anything, it looked like chicken with some sauce just... And it cost 17 eur.

Most amazing find in Seville. Upon entering you are surrounded by warm Moroccan decor that immediately makes you feel welcome. Attentive staff and a very efficient kitchen that serves up authentic Moroccan food that's to die for. If you are ever in Seville Spain you have to visit this jem.

Delicious food at Al Medina. Truly 100% authentic cuisine, even the harira comes with a wooden spoon (like they eat in the Rif). The pastella was delicious, and so was the tagine! Price/quality is fine. Luckily I had booked an uber to take us, there are many small streets in the center of Seville.

The place is nice but the dishes are too scarce for the price they have. There is a sign on the outside advertising menu x 19 euros. Once inside, they don't offer it. We paid almost 60 euros and went hungry. The taste is not spectacular either. Service was good, but we won't be back

I could not recommend this place more. It is a beautifully decorated, quiet little spot in the Plaza del Museo of Seville. The food was incredible and the staff were so warm and welcoming. The tasting menu and tea were our favorites, but they have a lot of great options to choose from. If you are in Seville, I would definitely check this place out for a delicious meal.

Very pleasant and cozy Moroccan restaurant which offers comforting traditional recipes. Very friendly and professional staff who speak several languages (Spanish, French, English and Arabic). Perfect for dinners in Seville. Consider booking.
