We arrived our Hotel Murillo at late hours Bar La Esquina was a good option to have something to eat for us after a long journay. The waiter was a friendly guy, he served drinks quickly, afterwords started to bring tapas. I must admit that deep fried bacaleo was one of the best one I’ve ever had. We ordered another... More

The food here was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The waitress (Daniela) was always smiling and joking, making us feel very welcome. She gave us a local drink to try which was good for our cultural education :). I suggest trying their Rabo De Toro. It's amazing. This little gem is quite hard to find down a little... More

Average food and unfriendly batman. We had breakfast there and got bill for 30 Euros (!!!!) for orange juice, coffee and scramble egg. As it was our first day we had no idea that this could not be right. Having meals later we have realized that we got cheated. Avoid this place. There are several really good bars and restaurants... Just got back from here around 30 minutes ago. The Menu Del Dia wa 9 Euro, inclusive of a drink and dessert, with good selections. Tapas options existed for around 2-3 Euro per item, and 1L of Sangria was just 10 Euro. Overall, the food quality was pretty good and the value was certainly there. We really enjoyed this little... The best thing about this bar is it stays open late. It is located in the most historical, atmospheric and romantic part of the city of Seville: The Barrio Santa Cruz. It's the neighbourhood that most visitors will want to visit and stay in. During the daytime it's packed with tourists. The thing is, if you find yourself wandering around... More

We stayed in Hotel Murillo opposite of this tapas bar and as it was quite busy here all the time and the smell of tapas was good, we decided to give this one a try too (as we did with quite some tapas bars in Sevilla). As we already ate our share else before, we only ordered white wine, patatas... More

A much better place now it's under new ownership. We only stopped for breakfast but you could tell from how busy it was (we stayed opposite at the Hotel Murillo) that it had improved! Will definitely try it next year.

Sorry for the late review - we stayed at the Hotel murillo opposite this bar in Sept 12 and decided to give it another go. I wish I could remember the waiter's name as he was really friendly and made us laugh - even waving to us when we looked out of our hotel window - a complete turnaround from... More

My wife and I went for a short break to Seville and this restaurant was opposite our hotel. We ordered a selection of food - ham, potatoes, calamari and mushrooms, all of which were very nice. However, as there were three other people in the bar, who appeared to be locals, I expected the service to be a little better.... More

We were staying in Seville and had been sightseeing for the day in Cordoba. Upon our return we wanted just a light meal so we went around the corner from our hotel and sat down at an outdoor table on a beautiful night. The place was empty so we had our doubts but were we surprised. We ordered a variety... More
