Quizá no sea el más típico ni auténtico, pero sí un acierto seguro sin lugar a sorpresas. Buen ambiente, buena comida y buen servicio. Para turistas, pero acertado. Ideal para comer en grupo por el tamaño de los platos. Maybe this is not the most typical or authentic, but it is a must that worths a visit. Always a wise... More

If you are looking for authentic Asturian dining, then look no further! Be sure to share a few dishes among friends along with a few bottles of sidra in order to get the true Asturian experience. So, "Echa un culín!" y "Buen provecho!"

This place was packed and yet we were able to get a table in a reasonable amount of time. Not bad for the San Mateo festival. Loved the cider pouring demos and the food was more than plenty for the price. We went twice and each time was a great experience. Will go again the next time we visit Oviedo.

We arrived here for lunch at 12:30 and were told the kitchen didn't open until 1. That was fine, we had a drink! Cider of course, which was good. But we were disappointed in the service when other tables started getting food at say 1:10 and our waiter hadn't even brought us menus. When lunch eventually came the food was... More

Worth making a reservation, since it seems always fully booked. We got a fresh salad (ensalada verde) - excellent, freshly made, crunchy and tasty, a menu consisting of tabla de quesos (three, membrillo, some nuts), pote asturiano (with beans and bacon and cabbage with potatos, very rich), solomillos, arroz con leche and home wine. My husband got ternera (veal) in... More

One of the best menu selections I've seen in Spain. The portions are huge, and everything we ordered was awesome. Get an order of Cider so your waiter can do the traditional overhead pour at your table.

We visited during the festival of San Mateo and evidently this is a very popular place. We were only in town for a couple of days and wanted to try the traditional cuisine and cider. The febada was delicious though extremely filling (no dinner required that night). The cider seems authentic though not to my taste. Worth visiting

Today popularly known as "Bulevar de la Sidra" by the quantity and quality of cider establishments coalesce there is the stage for a cider Tierra Astur Gascona, where every night seems weekend nights. The dynamism of our establishment and sympathy emanating from each and every one of our cider "culetes", escanciados with great care and professionalism by our staff, are good examples. We have an excellent heated terrace and shop Asturian products.
