We arrived in Bilbao late on a Sunday. We were looking for a place to get something light to eat. Café Iruna was one of the very few still opened, and with lots of customers. We had a good meal there. I recommend it. The highlight is the architecture, from the early 1900's.

We had a great dinner with menu for a reasonable price. Maybe the only thing to improve is that we felt they closed very early, and we would have stayed later.

We happened to step in there. It is a famous landmark for pintchos and a nice glass of wine. Do not be disappointed if it is crowded, you will find a spot. It is also a restaurant, but we did not try this.

With its neo-Moorish interiors, Cafe Iruña throws you back in time when cafes were coffee houses really, where the aspiring middle class debated political and social issues of the time. When you get in, you have to decide between the restaurant and the bar. We chose the bar for some pintxos and would do so again anytime. Must go/see/taste when... More

Este es uno de los restaurantes mas tipicos de Bilbao. Uno de los sitios obligatorios para tomarte un txikito, un pintxo, un pincho moruno, o comer. Solera por todas sus esquinas. One of the best known restaurants of Bilbao. A must to really know Bilbao. Drink a small glass of wine known as txikito, pintxo or moruno's pintxos. Even to... More

Great selection of well priced pintxos. Pretty moorish looking space. More comfortable than most pintxos bars because there is a back room with normal height tables and chairs where you can consume your order. No need to stand or balance on a high bar stool. Don't miss the charcoal grilled skewers they do in the evenings. We ate a la... More

This is a best choice if you want to taste some local food and beverages. They have different menu every day.

Great setting, good pinchos, GREAT COFFEE. Staff positively miserable, but it was morning. I did enjoy it though.

An excellent value for Sundy late lunch, you get a starter, main course, dessert and a bottle of wine or cider for under 20 eur! Food is tasty and service is very fast. Nice decor as well.

Beautiful dining room, dark wood, tiles & murals, feels unchanged since it opened (1903?). Food excellent, and also great value, so much so that we ate there two days running (lunch menu - 3 courses including wine €14!). Wanted to try the pintxos, but couldn't drag ourselves out of the restaurant, maybe next time.
